Brother HL L2350DW Replace Toner Error Menu Bypass Settings Fix | Laser Printer Troubleshooting

In this video we turn off replace toner to continue mode on the brother HL-l2350dw. This setting will fix the replace toner error when your printer stops working but there is still some toner left. super annoying from the factory but you can fix it with this laser printer troubleshooting fix. I recommend changing this setting as soon as you get the printer but you can do it also when you get the replace toner message on you brother printer. This will work with other models such as Hl-l2340

You are a life saver. I was trying to print the last 7 copies of a final exam for my class the next day when my printer stopped printing and gave me the 'replace toner message'. I tried putting in 3 different cartridges, some of the partially used, but the printer would not accept them. Thankfully, I found your video around 1:30 am, and I was able to print the remaining copies.

If you cannot get to general menu: unplug the printer and wait a couple minutes. Plug the printer back on and you should be able to get to the general menu. Worked for me! Thank You! Now i can print a shipping label!!!

Thanks for including this tip. After restarting my L2350DW, the menu was toggling between the main setup and the "out of toner", and it took a couple of timely hits of the Back button to get it to get into the main menu and then I followed the instructions in the video to change the setting for toner to "Continue". Presto, can print again (with good amount of toner left)!

The printer was a bit complicated to hook up kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 but it does the job very efficiently. I like the ink wells versus the ink cartages that cost an arm and a leg. It prints quickly and the quality is excellent. It shuts off when not in use, so you have to remember to turn it on. Overall, it exceeds my expectations. I'll update my review in a couple of months.

I eventually found if I switched the printer off and restarted, I could access that setup menu. Then followed your instructions, and Bingo! All good. Thank you.

I was looking for a way to (Fix Menu Replace Toner) when I found this link. I had not come close to 1200 start up pages but would no longer print I installed a E-Z Ink (TM) Compatible Toner Cartridge, and It still said replace toner even though it worked. So I followed your instructions (Way to Speedy) and had to replace a bunch of times. In any even I took out the E-Z Ink (TM) Compatible Toner Cartridge and put back the brother toner and now it works. I don't really need a message when I need a new toner as it is clear or faded away, Thank You!

I’ve looked up several methods for resetting the toner timer but they have not worked with my present brother copier, MFC2710. Your procedure works to turn the whole blasted thing off.

For anyone trying to solve this issue, I recommend direct connection to the printer with the device you're trying to print too... as for me, it kept showing "offline" do to no printer toner... once I've connected with cord (with drivers installed from the brother website), viola. Back to printing again, as my ink was never really empty... but without a cord, i had no success till i used a cable. I tried this method for continuing to no avail as well as the usermode reset: holding go button while turning on printer for 3 seconds while the toner door is open... after letting go of buttons then in usermode hitting go 9 times, once wifi button blinks, hit go 5 more times then closing cartridge door... still no avail. Cord ✅️ = success🙌

Didn't fully work for me. It DID get it out of the locked out condition. It now prints, but then goes back to the "Replace Toner" message, but now it doesn't lock printing out. Will be ordering a toner for another printer anyway, so will do so for this at the same time, since it's an old cheap-replacement I'm using, which does also show some very faint patches of black on the paper.

Thank you. Couldn't print by boarding pass... your tip worked. That is a really shitty feature Brother set as a default. They pull that crap with non-brother toners also. I had a problem with the printer not recognizing the third party new toner but there is a fix for that too.

Hi, if you turn this setting off, will the printer interact with the chip on the toner? Are you able to use the same chip over and over again?

You can use the same cart and refill it, but even refilling a cart has a life span and you'll see decreased quality or problems after so many refills.
