I was wondering too how you, as a parent, can forgive anyone for killing your wife and child when the killer is also your child. How do you even look at your child after that? Esp when the murder was for nothin. That's such a tough situation

To forgive is to remove a heavy burden upon yourself I stand behind for doing so with his own flesh and blood... Many of you don't know what forgiveness means....
@Kindred044 жыл бұрын
@@mystorymenzi7726 - Your comment is extremely condescending. A person can know what forgiveness means but still find certain acts to be unforgivable. People handle things differently. There are people in my life that I will never forgive, and there's no "heavy burden" on me for not doing so.
@thedingo15724 жыл бұрын
To forgive is to unburden yourself. In a way it is a selfish act. Though I believe in forgiveness for healing self and moving on. ....... I don’t believe in actively supporting the criminal. Let the law of the land handle it. If you have truly forgiven them it doesn’t matter what happens after. Wether the legal system is it fair or unfair is of no consequence. They should still be in prison, less than 15 years for a double pre-meditated murder is insane. They should have been executed. The law has become way too soft on violent and murderous individuals. For stabbing the mother over 40 times then doing all of that to the brother there is no excuse for any type of leniency.

@@hkbabel I agree but there are plenty of convictions that are 100% rock solid, guilt is 100% proven. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a loving family. I was scared of my verbally and sometimes physically abusive brother. My mother was a manipulative narcissist and would threaten to have me sectioned and locked away in a psychiatric hospital as she was a nurse and so I had very little freedom in my late teens and early 20s. She also had Munchausen’s by Proxy, and I was dragged from one medical specialist to another.

Whenever there is a "pssst" after having listened to a horrific story, I feel like someone is coming around the corner to get me. LOL!!! Thrilling and talented narration in all of your videos. 8 and 9 years respectfully for the boyfriend and his lover in the commission of matricide and patricide. Good grief that is by my lights utter indifference by the judicial sentence for such a brutal horrendous crime murdering ones own flesh and blood the woman who gave you life and your young sibling. How the father can remain loyal to the daughter even after discovering she was the driving force behind it and the motive being the financial windfall she would derive from the life insurance is beyond me. I would in many respects be trying to contemplate how I was responsible for rearing such a callous and self absorbed character as this daughter. I'd be wracked with guilt that I hadn't perceived I had such an individual living under my roof and the initial plan was to murder me as well. I for one believe the Italian people should revisit their penal regime that someone could serve so little time for killing your loved ones.

When people commit these crimes they're not expecting to get caught. The threat of punishment doesn't factor in their thinking. Capital punishment, execution, is retribution, nothing more, it's not a deterant, never has been, and its not necessarily justice, its just revenge, an eye for an eye leaves the world blind. That's not even taking into consideration the frequency of miscarriages of justice.
@professorswaggamuffin75724 жыл бұрын
I have to agree with@@billythepigeon7345. There is something to be said about it and it's that _it should _*_not_*_ be done._ I used to be in favor of it but after I wrote a paper on it in college I changed my mind. Here's why: 1) it *doesn't deter crime **_at all_* 2) it *costs more* than life in prison and wastes much-needed resources 3) it has been shown *not to* bring the satisfaction anticipated by victims families 4) its often botched and is a form of cruel and unusual punishment 5) its handed down in far greater quantity to the poor and minorities _for the _*_SAME CRIMES._* 6) overzealous prosecutors, csi analysts, experts for the prosecution often think that the ends justifies the means & often overstate or even falsify evidence. Many states have admitted such problems exist 7) it makes killers of everyone who lives in that society & we (in the US) should get with the modern world and get rid of it 8) it *has & will* continue to *_kill innocent people._* We don't know how many but its believed that _5-15% of those executed were innocent._ Often they were killed for "killing" their own loved ones only to be exonerated after being killed. We don't know the full numbers because after death, ppl (except for the family and friends) move on. Its truly atrocious and tragic.

She was classified as narcissistic and borderline but I feel like she's a psychopathic as well. I mean, she has no empathy, no emotions, no regrets, the psychiatrics that talked to her in the jail said that she was able to fake her pain but not to feel it for real. In the police station they nicknamed her "il ghiaccio (the Ice)" because she was cold and didn't show any emotions. Same thing when they taked her back home when the home was still full of blood because they wanted to listen to her version again, she was totally cold explaining what happened according to her version, no emotions there either. Also when she got sentenced guilty she had literally gone mad in the court, she started screaming and insulting her lawyers, showing a very low frustration tolerance level. Now she's free but I don't know if she can be now considered normal, I feel like she could still be socially dangerous

Truely a powerful example of a fathers unconditional love.... to be able to forgive her and stand by her side - it must have came to a shock to many including his own daughter - given the fact they did also plan to murder him but ran out of energy before they could. It’s ABSOLUTLY mind boggling the amount of strength this man has to have - not just to stick by his daughter but the fact he lives in that very same home where the tragedy occurred also has to be hard.

Interesting case. There was a case similar here in Canada. Girl wanted her parents dead because they were too restrictive. She got her boyfriend who was into drugs to hire thugs to do it pretending it was a home invasion. She was also tied up. The father survived pretending to be dead. I think she got life without parole for 25 yrs. Yes the sentence was too lenient. Strange the father still loved his daughter after this.

I miss the old logo with the “reel” images. Older folks like me remember school days when we went down to the “AV” room to see a movie. Reels make a distinctive sound and image. And the number countdown. Oh those were the days! If you are going to call your channel Crime REEL, it would be good to use reel images and sounds, imho, anyway. I love you channel (and Brief Case). I like how they are about 15 minutes and are mostly audio, so I can listen while I rest with my eyes closed or while I do projects and chores. [i also like channels that are mostly visual so I can watch without sound during down times at work.]

Nooooo it's over! Please don't stop! Funny thing, I have been watching videos on narcissistic personality disorders and narcissist lately because I'm trying to figure out a couple of people I know. From what I'm finding, there is no cure, it just is what it is and the consensus is get as far away from the person as possible and no contact. They truly don't process emotions like other people. If she was truly one, the time in jail would not have changed her and the thought of her having children is truly chilling!! This I think is one of the most frightening cases you have covered! Murder of her mother and brother just because they were in her way, truly horrific.
@migue47934 жыл бұрын
I hope they were rehabilitated. Our first love is usually our foolish love, however, the crime was beyond horrible and she killed her baby brother and mother. I get offended when people blame immigrants because that leads to xenophobic behaviours. Speaking of continents in LatAm we have the 6 continent model. North and South America are both just called America. I believe some places combine Europe and Asia as one continent known as Eurasia.
@TheCrimeReel4 жыл бұрын
very good points in your message again Migue. I respect your opinion each time. As for the continents theory, are you trying to make me start all this again? ;-)
