The funniest argument against her is, to me, that she "slept her way to the top." On the other hand, the 24 hour news cycle where something has to blow up every eight hours has been ruining our democracy. A fair bit of why the media has been so helpful to Trump is that he is helpful to them: he can be guaranteed to say or do something disgusting enough to be news worthy at least once a day. There is legislation called The Major Richard Star Act that continues to gain traction in both chambers of Congress and both sides of the aisle. However, even though the bill has over 300 co-sponsors in the House and over 70 in the Senate, it is stalled out while tens of thousands of service members continue to suffer daily. I'm actually not sure that Trump is up to another intense presidential campaign, given his occasional descent already into incoherence about sharks and electrocution. As it gets into the last 99 days, and events come thicker, he may not keep up, especially with a level pegged race demanding campaigning, and a sharper opponent. Of course, fear of prison may motivate him, but he could equally take a flight to some country without extradition, ostensibly for politics, then never come back, just stay in some resort he buys. Claim that the media, or sharks, are being unfair to him. Or just wait out of range of extradition until he learns if he's won.
