@@nousernamewhatsoever It is possible, with intention, to rise above the energetic effects of other people’s beliefs, opinions and emotions - however close in to us they are, by claiming ownership of one’s own life. It is a discipline to follow to honour our own truth, which is our essential self, free from the effects of others dominance. There is much joy and fulfilment to be found in living a life where we each vow to be true to ourselves. Then we have a real gift to give to the world and to those around us.

@@Mia15239 listen to her teachings, even this video. I'm oversimplifying but it's your perception of yourself, the words you use to describe how you feel, and most importantly allowing yourself to feel all emotions (good and bad) fully and acknowledging them. All illnesses are a result of repressed emotions that we hold onto, if we merely feel our negativity we can see it for what it is, then in that state we can reframe how we see them, most of which were other people's beliefs/programming (especially from parents during childhood). It takes a lot of self introspection and constant awareness, it takes work and it is painful, but it does work if you're willing to.

WOW I just realized how I got out of depression and into a higher vibration before, when I was feeling really good for the first time since I was little I would tell others and myself "the chances of surviving depression and staying better are so low, the chances of someone going from living in depression to living infinitely in alignment are even lower that's why I have to stay focused and live from my heart" I saw myself as one of the only people capable of doing it so I did it! I was super happy for months, I could feel vibration all over my body and it felt amazing, I felt like I found a part of myself I didn't know I was missing, then I got lazy and I got off track and eventually back into depression. I've been back in depression for 4 years now, I keep asking myself why is it so hard for me to get back in alignment, when will I have a breakthrough, now I remember the feeling of knowing how to get myself better! I am a woman who has always been meant to overcome depression and live a magical life, I know I am!

Oh My God! This conversation was so rich!! She speaks in such a nonchalant, relaxed way yet EVERY single thing that she says is Gold!! I have a lot of childhood trauma and low self worth and my coping mechanism has always been food. So of course I have been overweight/obese since I was 12ish. So I do understand the mechanism of my actions, where they come from. And still always wondered why do I need to eat eat eat (especially anything that's crunchy! Crisps are my drug, seriously!) when I know it's bad for me, and also understanding the psychology of the coping mechanisms...yet I still do it. I can't stop myself, like I'm in a trance. And then she said one thing in this interview that just blew my mind, that I had NO idea about!! - That there are stress receptors in our jaws, which is why people like to eat, especially things that are crunchy, when they feel stressed or anxious! Oh my god, it makes sense now!! I've lived my entire life with anxiety. I never eat because I'm hungry. I eat because I need the process of eating (chewing, tasting, crunching). Of course... We are so evolved yet so primitive, as humans...

That's definitely not accurate because otherwise you would simply chew on celery. If you remove processed foods from your diet you will realize that it's very easy not to eat. It's the chemicals that they put in our food that makes it insanely delicious that we get a huge dopamine spike from it. Just like any other drug. You can't find that in nature. So processed food is in essence is a drug. It's an addiction. Dopamine is a pain reliever.

This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it kzbin.infoUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

Interesting ‘Podcast’ I’m sometimes little bit unconvinced with some therapists ,as some are too full of equations and theories but She was enlightening. As i see it- The first key is to be where you are. Don’t wish away your whole day today waiting for better ones ahead. Just be present. You've come a long way to get here, and you're still learning and growing. Find value in the lessons. Take them and make the best of things right now. 2. Remember that it’s wiser to lose someone over being who you are, than it is to keep them by being someone you’re not. Because it’s easier to fill an empty space in your life where someone else used to be, than it is to fill the empty space inside yourself where YOU used to be.!! Once you begin to value your inner peace over your need to hold on, engage, react, or be right, you will in fact begin to feel more centered and whole (and in control). Truly, learning to let go of certain things and detach from certain people's behavior, are two of the great paths to inner peace. And yet we collectively tend to hold on tight! peace🕊

Marisa how amazing you are, how simple it is to make a person change an idea {or thought} into healing oneself, using three steps, to change any negative thought, feeling, or action into awareness. This simple method can be used by all people from the entire world.

Wow! This is a story of my life. I didn't even realize my parents were toxic until this year and I'm 30 years old. They wanted a boy, I wasn't neat as my sister (I am neat, but not millitary neat). I had to clean entire house (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dish washing and other things from age of 4). There often were actions with belt for both me and my sister because we laugh or run at home. They regulary said they will send me away to retarded school because I left T-shirt on chair at my room. They said they hope I never will get a husband. Mother always gossips about me even until this day and says only bad things. Parents said I should never study Psychology, because only weirdos do that. So I went to study Art which also was bad and they said I would never get a job. My grandmother was the best person I have ever known, she always said that I'm good and I really miss her. I had the best first boyfriend when I started University, he loved me and I loved him so much, but I was young and my mother always said to my relatives and her friends that that boy is ugly and shy, and poor, and doesn't suit me. And it always stayed in my mind, because it was important to me what my parents think. So time went by and after 5 years we broke up. We stayed friends, but now he's gone forever. He died. After we broke up my mom said that don't understand why I broke up, I don't know what I want and it was sooo confusing, because I broke up to avoid constant badnouthing about my life and decisions. Time passed and I started relationships with another boy who lied and cheated me. I felt like no one is there for me. No one. It took years to get out of that toxicity, but it was possible only because I moved to live abroad and distanced myself. Now I have to listen bad stories about other family members and relatives. So it is a never ending story. But at least I can see positive things in the World at times when I don't have to speak with my parents. I believe that I am where I am because of lack of confidence and support, but I will heal myself and I will believe in myself by listening to inspiring and positive peopke who overcame their struggles.

So much u said i can completely relate to. My sister and I both only until we were also in our early 30s , realized our mom was also toxic. I am 41 now and she is living with me. I cant stand it. Although , I own my own home I am in a position that the little extra financial help is needed and my car broke, she has a vehicle so it helps but omg i get where u come from. My mom always gossipped abt my sister and me she had us when she was very young and honestly didn't know what she was doing .. She slandered people into believing we were horrible children. Our parents divorce was hard on us but no adult ever asked how we were doing. Instead we got yelled at by other adult family members for being "so mean" 2 our mother. Smh. I have a daughter and I could NEVER imagine talking so badly about her .... she is the apple of my eye. My daughter is 19yrs old we dont always see eye to eye but i NEVER talk about her negatively to other people. If anything, i put her on a pedastal so i can't understand my mom ever doing that to us. She is always gossiping about other family members too. She changed her side on how she feels about someone and then will change the whole narrative about them if they're not getting along. Same as far as being in my personal relationships. She hated my daughters father (some reasons were legit) and would get into our business so much, telling me for YEARS i should leave him... then when i finally did, she became friendly with him and even got him a job.. Yes, talk about confusing. She is so confusing

She’s completely right, I’ve had self defeating thoughts paining on my confidence for a while, when I identified that I thought I could try separating the ‘Shadow’- visualizing my bad ego so I could have an objective strength; and arguing with it whenever I had a negative judgement about myself But then after a while, left alone to my thoughts, I realized my anxiety and overthinking stemmed from not trying to make myself look like a fool, and to be liked by people, those thoughts although very self defeating were also trying to protect me but just ended up being a danger alarm that keeps beeping at all times and turned into a poison

I had a lot of reasons to think “it’s all on me” , in early childhood but the thought “‘do i have to listen to this” is what i felt about hearing my dad rant. I just thought it was all him not me. i learnt very young that you just can’t win with some people either way, that it’s not your fault you trigger them. Even being told “you were a mistake”, made me think “well wasn’t my mistake”!

18:00 I'm also chronically late and lately I've actually been getting the insight about myself that I always had to go out into the world without question anyway and do and participate and adapt, regardless if there was still a lot amiss for me or not that I actually needed to be fixed or dealt with first. Both my parents have always thought punctuality very important aswell so it was always this continuous issue aswell that I was always late and I started to feel increasingly that my value was just being measured by my ability to be on time, timely (fast enough to keep up with the world), doing and finishing homework and assignments in time and also chores around the house for example, things like that which are essentially superficial to me. A bit later in life I was also pressured a lot to keep up family contacts (again with the always having to be timely and on time thing which I basically never managed), while my parents seperated when I was was 2 y.o. and upholding this chaotic ideal of co-parenting with me being expected to fit in everywhere with everyone, at all times at the behest of all the adults in my life so that alienated me from most and at the worst times all members of my family even more in those dark and trying times. So over the course of my adolescense I started talking less and less to anyone basically and especially less to my parents, essentially trying to just tough it out through the shit because I knew I was going to be misunderstood and unheard anyway.

I split up with a lovely guy, who was never right for me though, four years ago. He moved out of my house and as I was redecorating the room we used to share, I discovered Marissa Peer on KZbin, and listened to her for hours. It started a journey of personal growth that brought me to today. Today, at the age of 50, I realised that I can view myself as a feminine and attractive woman. I can find a man to be a partner in a relationship we both want and enjoy. I went out to work knowing I wanted to work through this realisation some more, then lo and behold! When I got home from work and opened KZbin I am presented with this wonderful conversation, with this wonderful woman. Thank you. I am going to have an early night. I want to relish digesting this in a quiet room… I just wanted to say a big thank you first 🙏 THANK YOU!

Previously listening to all the scientists, doctors, etc., she is the most understandable and real personality! While I love you and believe you always ask the best, most pertinent questions of your guests, you were mostly silent because she gave continuous information where there was no need for questions to be asked. She’s definitely 1 in a million ( literally ) because MOST THERAPISTS don’t help anyone, price gouge and have nothing to say. I’ve been to many looking for help and found so many others going through the same like me.
