Exactly, people treating sex as "sin" just because it's out of wedlock and pushing for purity when it's just human nature will make people eventually flip the opposite way. Especially as a parent who's son is approaching that age quickly, I want to make sure he understands that it's normal to have those thoughts and it's not a bad thing. There's a line to dance around with how to not tell him at 13/14 it's okay to just go in, but at the same time make sure he understands the consequences (kids/STDs) that can come with those choices. It's a tough challenge to how to explain it, especially to your own kids. You don't want them to become promiscuous but at the same time you want them to understand it's not bad or weird that they feel certain ways. If you push too hard towards the "purity" aspect of it, then you can easily see them do a total 180 once they realize what it is.

Setting a child up with knowledge and information about the pros and cons of sex has always and will always work better than teaching them to fear sex as a sin. Recently I went to a Santana concert and during that concert he went on a monologue about how he doesn't want to be scared into heaven but loved into heaven. I whole heartedly agree with his line of thinking. A lot of the songs on "If I Should Touch You" were based in sixties folk-rock and country, such as "Gentle On My Mind" (Glen Campbell), "Blowin' In The Wind" (Bob Dylan), "Little Green Apples" (O.C. Smith) and "Both Sides Now" (Joni Mitchell). Hell; "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" is by a British prog group called PROCOL HARUM. A lot of the stuff arranged for orchestra and choir sounded downright CREEPY and unsettling when stripped of the studio instrumentation; maybe that's why Worthington's face looks like it does. He looks like he KNOWS how awful it all is.
