That’s so amazing that they release them back into the wild with a little group of seals their age- so they’re not venturing off all alone. Those baby seals are able to experience the world for the first time together and hopefully stay together as they get older. That’s really sweet.

(Just checked, Jesus Christ 467 species perished in the last decade alone according to "Vox - The species the world lost this decade")

As for your challenge, the Black Rhino, Giant Tortoise, and an Ibex are all that come to mind. Part of releasing them to nature means releasing them to dangers as well and if they are well rehibilitated, they'll know how to be able to compete. That of course means some of them will perish. Some of them, however, will thrive, and that's part of life. I completely understand the feeling, but the idea that we can provide permanent ''safe care'' to these creatures, especially these sea ones, is wrong. Our attempts at creating permanent safe enclosures have only amounted to animal suffering and enviromental damage.

Wetsuit mom was sad. Bet its nothing like the warmth, smell, sounds, sensations of mum, but she needed it. Shes a little fighter for overcoming everything, and being such a good feeder.
