He was at least 10 days old when you found him because his eyes were fully opened. I would guess he was about 3 weeks old because he was so coordinated. Good job.

The kitten was 5-7 weeks old, maybe a month, but not younger bc they only begin eating meat when they are a month old. Only after a month their ears change into more adult shape, they are tiny floppy flaps when they are born, and they are still small triangles they are smaller than a month.

I grew up a dog lover but thought cats were cool After I got out of the Army one of my best friends & roommates had a cat that I fell in love with It never crossed my mind to adopt a cat but then I got one & then another one. Now I am a full blown crazy Cat Daddy I cannot imagine life without them They are so amazing I didn’t realize how smart & intrepid they are Cats & dogs can bring our lives so much joy, love, laughter & extra purpose. I actually feel they can be crucial for support too. I think people with pets can even be happier & healthier with them. They can keep us ground & make rainy days ok. Seems like a small little thing but these days that can be huge. Waking up with them keeping me all toasty makes it hard to get out of bed & go to work but returning home to two fuzzy faces waiting for my arrival makes the return that much better. I didn’t even realize how much I was missing without them. I cannot imagine a life without furry family now. Also, I am like @steph …to each his or her own & there are many different things to like or enjoy out there but cats are one of this life’s greatest joys….a gift & it is hard to fathom how anyone outside of a cold & cruel soul could not like or want a kitty or two or three😁

Thank God for pets. I know I wouldn’t have made this far is this crazy life without Nunchuck and Gaia, my Chihuahua and tabby cat. They bring me more joy each day than I ever realized was possible. When I came back from the Army w 2 deployments, depression and PTSD… these little angels nursed my soul back to life, literally coming to console me if the anxiety ever got too bad. People need reasons to love you, animals do not. Don’t know where I’d be now without my fur homies. Lol

Oh, he's just like my cat! Utterly adorable. She's 13 years old now and still gets mistaken for being 5 months old. She has been a great blessing to us with her love and goofiness. She is my cat child. But the information you gave at the start, is not accurate. He was not just a few days old, when you found him, for his eyes were open and the eyes open at 9 days. He seemed more like four weeks old to me at least for this tiny breed of cats. You say, that he was half a pound, when he was 480 grams. That's only 20 grams short of a total pound. Seems you mixed pound up with kilo. When you were referring to the lbs-pound of America, which is 453,59 grams, he was already over a total pound. Whatever, he's small in statue, but great in being adorable :)
