Birds are so interesting. Sitting on a foggy beach in Washington I watched an older guy and a young woman play keep-away with a Seagull. It was just one Seagull. They threw the ball back and forth and the gull would chase it back and forth while occasionally catching it in mid-air. They would chase it around and yell at it good naturedly until it dropped the ball and the game would all start again. I was mesmerized. When they left I asked, inanely, if they weren't going to take "their" gull and they said "oh he isn't ours. She(he) shows up to play ball with us sometimes"....I'm sure I had a stupid look on my face and all I could say was "Oh".

Somehow both the same crows and different ones from before recognized the people who antagonized them without the masks on. Can’t help but comment. In india- Crows are considered to be our (dead) ancestors. So each household, rich or poor would usually have a ‘pet’ crow or two. Many have strict dietary preferences like certain brand of biscuits or bread and also would only eat from a particular person in that house. Ours respond to my father’s call and loves white rice with plain yogurt, with yellow split daal on the side :) She gets fed first before all of us humans, as that’s the tradition

They also bring small shiny gifts and rocks and little change like nickels and pennies. They are so incredibly nice and well knowing.

Corvids are amazing birds, they're more intelligent than parrots. Just from an intelligence standpoint, they possess self awareness, tool making, they actually play elaborate games with each other. They can recognize familiar human faces and display complex problem solving skills. Crows have a remarkable diverse diet, they'll eat most of what humans can eat, many species eat agricultural pests like cutworms, wireworms, grasshoppers and harmful weeds as well. They remember not only the days garbage trucks will be out and about and even memorize garbage truck routes to scavenge whatever they can find (planning). Fascinating animals.

Since dogs have been living with humans for a long time, they are said to be able to read our emotions. Many dog owners may have some idea of what they are feeling, such as going to the side of someone who is sad and comforting them with a lick, or wagging their tails vigorously when they are happy. Dogs have excellent senses and cognitive abilities, and can distinguish the slightest sounds of breathing, heartbeats, and tone of voice, and respond to human emotions.

Cute Japanese Cats Channel I couldn't agree more. But I do think I have an exception to that rule. My lovely mini Pom doesn't seem to "get" when things r not rt with me. I've had a stroke & a couple mini strokes & it was business as usual with my Goldie. Then I was walking in the rain & fell & broke 3 toes & cracked my knee & fractured my ankle on my other foot. Still wanted me to take her out ( even though I keep a potty pad inside) & needed to b petted & loved like everything is normal. Doesn't cuddle up to me or act any different when I'm in such pain. Like she's saying let's get on with this. I'm kinda stymied about it all. Maybe she's just not that smart??? Gotta love her to bits anyway. 🐈🐈🐈

Did anyone mentioned how cool and chill that Shepherd was with the bird? Mine would chase the poor crow until she gets it… in the mouth. Such a good doggie!

So true! I was once rescued a bird, and as he recovered a few hours later and went flying, the wind carried him back in the garden and my sweet and gentle dog raced to eat him :-/

Im sitting here with tears in my eyes, I rescued a housecrow (tanzania) at the same age, also fell out of a very tall tree...your story is so very similar to ours....only Curtis (is a she actually) disappeared after 8 months she also had crow friends, so im hoping she is living a happy crow life...still missing her though after 9 months...she would come with us on our morning dog walks...hid things in the fold of my skirt, in my crocs, one of my dogs was her friend and they played together..took the clothes from the line, helped gardening by pulling out freshly planted plants from the soil and a ton load of other stuff....crows are truly awesome

Such a great job you did! Very impressed with your ability to keep his needs first. Making him a family member dependent on you was clearly never your goal, I salute your efforts, since you did EXACTLY what he needed you to do!!! ❤❤❤

Crows are more intelligent than the German Shepard, in fact, they're as intelligent as a 7-year-old human!

One of my most favorite animal videos of all time! Especially when she was "talking to Pepe in "crow talk!" I had no idea that a crow would go with their dog friend for walks in the park, and give food to other crows he would eventually join and create his own "crow family." We have so much to learn to live in harmony with animals - this video brought joy to my heart and to my soul as my spirit takes wing!

Ever since I lost the best dog in the world due to old age, seeing happy German Shepherds brings me joy.: I thought about adopting another one, but I’d feel like I was replacing him and I just can’t do it. He was my pal. Sorry for venting like this.
@victorrtalluto2253 жыл бұрын
Your departed Shepherd would not begrudge your happiness with a new best friend. He would not want his human friend to be lonely. Save a life. Adopt. The adopted GSD lying next to me is a "replacement" for one who died from seizures.

I'm beside myself as to what you did for this crow. How your dog and him had such a cute bond. The freedom you gave him and the aide to help him become independent are so selfless and desire for him to get back into life as a free reigning crow. You are an exemplary person for your approach to mending a crow and feel this video would be a guide for anyone who encounters the same. Bi can't commend you enough...I was sad that his visits became further between, I know your dog probably misses his little friend..you made me smile, thank you

Years ago I found a baby crow on the ground and I didn’t see any adult crows around so I took him to my house a few blocks away. I had him in my screened in porch until that afternoon. Then a bunch of adult crows surrounded the porch and were going crazy trying to get to him. I put him outside and he hopped away with the other crows watching over him. They definitely stick together.
