Jim Carrey moved like that was his natural body. He must of endured a ton of pain for that role.

The first one is completely stupid, but at least tries to make some semblance of connection to tge tragic event it's based on, the second utterly insults it's audience by completely ripping off the James Cameron film while at the same time hamfisting in a shoe sniffing fettish, magical moon beam/tear nonsense, and trying to bambi la la la garbage by pretending all those people that died, leading to something good that came out of the tragedy by changing nautical laws of life boat capacity on cruise ships and such, and the third is just pure nonsense with 0 connection to the titanic whatsoever aside from the fact the main characters used to be on it, not to mention the original title implying the focus being on the octopus while having almost nothing to do with it as well... Might as well call all the movies shark jumping and tom green, the documentary.

The Dr. Suess movie-adaptations run the gamut of bad-movies. The 2000 Grinch was bad, but interestingly bad The 2003 Cat in the Hat is insultingly bad and obscenely unfunny. It's just Mike Myers bombing at stand-up for an hour-and-a-half. Horton Hears a Who and the 2018 Grinch were competent but bland and unmemorable. The Lorax was insultingly bad by completely screwing up the source-material

I remember when I saw The Cat In The Hat my basic response was something to the effect of "That was one of the worst films ever made... and it totally got robbed for the Best Set Design Oscar." I love it's aesthetic and just truly wish there was a better movie to go with it. I definitely recommend watching The Lorax. I'm not sure if his video on it includes the comparison with the earlier 2d animated version or not, I think he was the one that did that but it's been a very long time. My feelings on that movie are complicated. I like it a lot as a standalone film, but it's a really bad adaptation in a lot of ways. Also I'd recommend checking out some of the cut songs from it afterwards if you do. "Biggering" is genuinely amazing and the original version of "Thneedville" hints that the original plans for the movie seem pretty different then what ended up happening. I know someone even did an animatic of what a possible sequence for Biggering might have looked like that was really cool.
