As a Moroccan who was born and raised in Kenitra, I can tell you that our ultras, and our love to KAC is not just a support, it's pretty much an identity. Also, the song that was sung here, was like a response to what happened to our ultras when they went to Rabat(the capital) and were attacked by authorities, and one of our people was attacked to death. Every lyric in that song has a deep meaning to it. Keep up the great work Hallala boys👍 Love KAC 💚🤍🇲🇦

I'm not part of any football ultras group, but I have been with ultras groups at many matches and I can tell you one thing: once you've experienced the roar of thousands of people singing in unison, the smell of torches burning, big flags waving through the coloured smoke, jumping up and now like a maniac under a giant painted banner covering the stand with sparklers underneath to make it seem from the outside like the banner is shimmering (stuff that around here's called a "choreography")... well, it's hard to go back to the "regular" sections of the stadium. Or, as they say, "no pyro, no party"

The story behind the 2st long song Is the next: KAC Kenitra is a club in marocco. In the past a group of their support visited a match in the capital, most of them were young boys. Their believes and ideas were again the political views and they shown it by mean of banners and songs. During that visit their was an attack on them while they were in the away stands, local police didn't protect them! They were attack with weapon like knives, hammers etc. Many were killed. After it happened they tried to get those guilty to get sentence but found they plea neglected cause of corruption. It was orgastrated by the government. That's why they are so out spoken in their lyrics. They hate their government and the club where it all happened.

The Morrocan song is a political speech. One person making the speech would be arrested, but what can the police do when a whole stadium 'sing' the speech. As you can hear, there is no repeat, just a flow of statements that everyone know by heart. Another Morrocan club (the RAJA) has a song 'free Palestine' even more powerful, check this one out and don't panic as it is not a violent song but a very very emotional song. By the way the Paris song saying, we will become voiceless, actually means, that their voice will break as a result of singing so loud.

You ask why they can sing in unison they have been oppressed and victimised for years and it’s the thing that they are most passionate about and I have seen another comment below saying that this was the only way it could be televised without them being even more oppressed and their voices being silenced or twisted as criminal activity. This is real oppression and the power of the beautiful game allows them to express what they usually cannot even begin to fight against amongst such victimisation.

You grow up with your regional team… and if you are really stuck with your club and passionate you will never leave it so that’s why there is no chant you have to learn. For your "we can't even sign sweet caroline in unison" - made me giggle But it is because all of these are "the ultras", or made groups of fanatical football fans that make songs (that have also been produced on CD records in the past) to either oust a chairman of a FC (Football club), simply chant down another rival or to actually change their country (aka Solvenia in 1993?). This is why, I think I speak for all Europeans here, we really hate when Americans say "football" for NFL (American Football) as here, Football is an integral part of our culture, society and systematic change. In England, it was used to stop a known racist becoming MP in London in 1970s. This then made it forbidden to have a racial partisan politcal movement in politics (its why we ban a lot of parties of this nature nowadays...). Although that comes with its own problems (goes underground), it did set "the bar" for the rest of the world really. Came from Football fans. We are not as thuggish as you think :)

Happy to see some american people showing interest in ultras movement in Europe and north africa. Personally, I'm used to attending PSG matches from Auteuil curve and this is just crazy every match. If you want more madness from us, you should have a look on "Auteuil anniversaire 30 ans". 🔴🔵

That's why the tickets are seperated by zones for the different teams. Also the police will check you before entering to make sure you are at the right section and don't wear anything dangerous such as knife or other weapons.

You probably wouldn't even make it to the right section if you accidentally step foot on the wrong side of the stadium. They assign different parking spots for each team's fans and the police usually set up a perimeter to prevent opposing fans from clashing outside the stadium, especially for derbies.

Something i forgot to say, every club have song books (now days online) where you learn the songs etc. Usually clubs have like 8-10 songs, that all know, and then chants are said by one person and then everyone else just say what he says! Futhermore 1312 stands for ACAB, since i would guess its illegale in Morocco to say, so they just say 1312 instead.
