Good film. I'll miss your hired rig too, it was perfect. You could put a camper body on Chuck the truck and demount it if you want to spend time at the cabin you haven't bought yet! At the same time it will be interesting to see Clementine again and experience the refurbed power plant. Good luck.

🤣🤣 We watched some youtube videos before we went out and tried to take notes when people passed us...but we definitely need to do a proper lesson one day. We kept thinking we were getting the hang of it, but then we'd try to stop or slow down and it'd turn into a disaster 🙈

I came from a skiing family in Colorado during the 70’s and my parents ski’d well into their 60’s before having medical issues.I taught my wife 35 years ago how to ski. My wife and 3 adult children are all black diamond skiers and snowboarders. Unfortunately I have some serious health issues so none of that anymore. I tell my children how I used to go night skiing during my 20’s which was over 40 years ago. It was crazy because it would be blizzard conditions, windy, freezing forming an ice crust, shadows, etc. Now when I look back at it, it seems miserable but back then, I was young, strong, and thought it was so much fun. You’re both young, have fun and enjoy life. 👍
@Theendlessadventure Жыл бұрын
So sorry to hear about your health issues, but what amazing memories you made!! We're pretty sad that we're just now learning about all these awesome winter activities, but no matter how good we get, I don't know that we'd ever try night or blizzard skiing - that sounds wild!! How cool that you were able to teach your wife and children how to ski and pass on such great stories ❤️

The fairy like things you saw on the trees in the San Juan forest are lichen (fungus) called “Old Man’s Beard. This lichen is a bio indicator of how clean the air is. It is very sensitive to air pollution. So if you’re seeing a lot of them it usually indicates that the air is pretty clean and unpolluted.

Hope Allison got some thrills humping on the Snowmobile. Those homeowners don't have to go far for some tender Venison. Only done cross country skiing once at school to get around the estate winter of 62 - 63. 3 months of sub zero temperatures and feet of snow. Will be nice for you to get back in Clementine hopefully all the troubles are now behind you.
