Hey fil, that was me that challenged you. Looks like you couldn't handle the challenge for this video. You can redeem yourself if you do the challenge for the next TOP video. And to make it harder for you, if you can't do it then you owe me 1 billion dollars. But if you do it then I'll give you 1 billion dollars. Good luck fil.

The Piano came out centuries after the Harpsichord, and even if the Harpsichord is fun to hear, the Piano has so much more depth to it with because of its added features. No reaction challenge...Ok fren, 1-2-3 .... Maybe do that another time...Yip , another song, another songwriter. No judgement given or intended. You gave it a good shot, and all these songs are your first time hearing them, and you're getting alot of requests. Another fantastic review from you. Honestly, half the time I'm laughing my head off, the other half I'm in awe of your thought process. You really understand, interpret, and pick up quickly what Tyler is saying, and questioning in his lyrics, and how he switches up the music. He has a strong faith background, and pretty much all the songs he wrote have some reference in them. Music is powerful and talks to the soul. This song is beautiful and gave me goosebumps the first time I listened to it, so I decided to learn it on the piano, took a while, but got there in the end, been learning all his other songs too on other instruments. Therese.

We know Tyler has a talent for upbeat sounds with complex, serious words. Here? He is doing exactly that with the piano. Part is happy and upbeat, but the other isn’t. It becomes even more divided as he uses crescendos to make it more and more meaningful before he even says a single word!❤️❤️❤️

Sick reaction. And so spot on. I love that you caught the "lie'ghting". I never thought of that and have been fan for long time. Another thing is its also biblically spot on. Some people who directly saw God were destroyed "set fire" "rained down and destroyed" simply from how awesome and uncompresseble God looked. biblically speaking the ancient term used for God was not allowed to be spoken except for one or two accessions and by like the main important priest. Hence the "why won't you let us use your name." They're great cause you or anyone can interpret the song soo many ways and it still remains powerful.

I really enjoyed that reaction! When I heard the piano, how sweet and beautiful the tune, I literally started laughing. Watching you try not to react was fun, but I enjoy seeing you express your emotions, so I'm grateful you decided to try it on a different song. Tyler's words about using God's name could also be referring to humanity as a whole, or those parts of humanity that claim special connection to God. I heard "why would" not "why won't" - interesting question either way. Why would the ultimate Being allow such broken creatures to use the name? Look what humanity has done with the power associated with a connection to God. See how that has made the image of the eternal confusing and something to be feared? Lots to think about for sure. As for me, I have never truly doubted the existence of a Creator. I have many times questioned their nature and if they could love mankind, me. It's the "why?" for me, not so much the "if".

I'm a firm believer of God. I'm not the "textbook religious" kind though. I don't believe some ridiculous religious belief that could lead to discrimination and danger and I don't do stuff for the sake of getting a place in heaven. I just try my best to manifest His message of kindness, acceptance, and helpfulness to everyone, because for me, that's what God really wants us to do. But yes, you are absolutely right, there were days where I just look up and ask. The lyrics "I mean no disrespect, I am simply very perplexed by your ways," is SO TRUE it should be illegal. But at the end of the day, I realize this is the whole point of "Faith", right? A blind belief. It may sound stupid for some people, I mean, why on earth would someone believe something with no solid proof? But it is what it is to me. Believing gives me hope, it keeps me on track. And honestly, if someone would go out right now and say "I have the proof, everyone can take a look", I'll be curious, but I'd say no. I'd rather risk it and just see if He's really there afterlife. Coz for me, the word "Faith" will be senseless if I probed a proof. Anyways, amazing reaction as always. You're also right about the whole theater feel of this song. Everytime I sing this, the emotions just flow out of me.
@sukimarmelaide40304 жыл бұрын
Dude, what an eloquent & wise & honest statement. Thank you for sharing it. Most especially, the little piece about if someone were to have proof, you'd have to just shelve your curiosity..(for me, I believe I would do the same, but only after mightily bludgeoning, almost to an insensate comatous state, my maniacal adhd spider monkey on meth, (which is how I imagine my curiosity); who, when he's not spasmodically gripping my shoulder while he gabbles like an auctioneer who thinks he's Eminem, is on greased roller-skates, going a thousand miles an hour, on the rusty hamster wheel in my head, usually keeping me wide awake with the squeaking & deep exhalations from his longlong lungs)..but I guess that's the rub of being human.. Anyways, bubb, thanks again..best, most authentic thing I've read in awhile..definitely illustrates how deeply you've thought about it, which is a mark of true character (that & being able to spend time alone) lov, suki
