I typically don’t ever write comments on videos I watch, but I just genuinely feel like I need to say thank you. Those words doesn’t fully capture the gratitude I feel right now, but I’m not really great with words. I’ve had a rough couple of weeks and this was just incredibly inspiring to me. Every time I have a bad day where the sun just doesn’t seem to shine as bright you light up my day with your reactions. I’ve previously never enjoyed watching reaction channels, but there is something so special with you. Like I said I’m not great with words but I guess you could say you’re personal. It’s not just another reaction-KZbinr, saying things I’ve heard a thousand times before. You speak to me in a way no one else really does. I would think other people has said this before, but when I watch your videos it truly feels like I’m sitting down with my best friend and listening to music that I love. As I’m writing this I’m realising this might just be super weird. I know I’m just another person that you’ve never met before and probably never will meet, writing just another comment, and what I’m saying will have no effect on either of our lives, but I still want to say this once again: Thank you Fil, for everything ❤️

This song is one that hits at the core. Just the rawness of the song. Knowing people suffering from depression and drug addiction and knowing three friends that decided to take their lives while in high school, I wish this song was written long before its time. However, I know this song was written at the correct time and place in history. This song has helped me on some of those dark days. Everyone goes through them. Its how you respond to them that matters. Having this avenue to process the feelings and finding light in the darkness is what I am glad I have. I wish others were more willing to talk about these issues. You may seem alone but you are not. Everyone (yes everyone) goes through some tough, dark, and trying times. Having the ability to see even the faintest of light through it and seeing it through is whats important. Loved your reaction to this song. I was waiting for you to do this song. Its hard to listen to it sometimes because it brings up so much emotion but its a good thing. Its good to allow yourself to feel. Thanks for this man.

Tyler is an absolute genius, writes beautiful music, and lyrics, and has changed the world, and helped so many people to stay alive. I really liked your inspiring message at the end. To me I also imagine this song as bereaved and deceased thinking of each other, and the emotional rollercoaster of grief, eventually finding the new adjustment, and the association of people with songs, music, memories. The deceased is telling the bereaved to literally open your eyes, you are exhausted, but get up. Look inwards , find your new identity, and grow. Start living again ,you will never forget, but you will heal. The bereaved is thinking of the person in heaven, celebrating with joy the life they led, with the incredible impact they made on everyone.. The end is acceptance on both sides with memories. Sorry, can't describe it properly, but anyway.

THANK YOU FIL. I’m sitting here, a mess of tears, thank you for a beautiful reaction to one of tops most beautiful songs. I’ve told you before it means a lot to me from listening to it a lot when my stepdad took his life - I wish I had one more chance to tell him ‘you’re in my mind’. You’re ending was perfect, I often think that this song should be used for ‘RUOK DAY’ do you have that? My daughter did an aerial hoop routine to this in honour of her grandfather & to bring awareness to making sure you look into yourself, on my IG if you’d like to check it out. I've been having really bad days lately, I'm dealing with depression for the past years and it's really difficult for me to keep going and to find the strength to not let me be defeated by that... by my emotions and my own mind. Twenty One Pilots helped me so much in the past and they still help me nowadays, that's why they are in my top 5 favorite bands along with Explosions In The Sky, Muse, Linkin Park and the spanish rapper Nach. I need music to keep going, there are lights everywhere but when we are stucked in a bad mental place, we can't see them. This reaction was perfect and honestly Beautiful is the perfect way to describe this song. I find this song and Truce on the same level of beautiful touching emotionally impacting music. Tyler’s writing in my opinion is what makes him so different and his music does go up and down and switches constantly just like people’s emotions that are going thru something and that is no accident. I wanted to write something I don't know what exactly but I do know that I want to write. I've never been able to become the person I wanted myself to be. I.. always have this feeling that I'm causing trouble for people around me, that I'm being the problem and letting people down. I don't really like the way I am. I'm awkward, I'm dumb, I'm selfish, I even get anxious asking for a tissue in a restaurant..I never thought that I'd make it to where I am now and I don't think I'll be able to make it as an adult. But, Tyler and Josh really make me feel accepted with whatever flaws I have. There's tears coming out of my eyes as I'm writting this, but it really isn't an exaggeration when I say that these two people saved me. And I know.. that I'll keep trying. Because of them.
