I do want Shin Akuma to return, it's been a long time we haven't seen him. but what I mostly want is to see Akuma turning into Shin Akuma and then transform into Oni the next battle.

@@tristanchriesmon1056 Thank you very much Tristan. The developers could at least make Akuma a challenge by giving him access to his Shin form. Ryu must have full mastery of The Power of Nothingness to combat the likes of Shin Akuma in battle.

As much as i love the character, i dont see Oni coming back. Very few people played him in 4, he wasnt very good, he never saw any success competitively, and his lore was very thin.

Can’t wait for Akuma’s SF6 reveal. In my opinion……Seeing how some of the players have actually have gotten older time wise in the game, It would make sense to show that the dark hado has completely taken over Akuma in the form of Oni (only Oni in SF6 not Akuma) and he would have the full move set of Akuma from SF4 and SF5 but with the choice of which ultra raging demon move (SF4 or SF5). I also hope Gouken returns too.

Gen died if anyone wondered, theres a comic from Udon where Akuma comes back after his defeat and theybfight at Gens home and he dies in the fight

In SF 6 I think Akuma by this point will be at a level with the Satsu that Capcom brings back Oni and makes it canon. While Ryu uses his training from his old master and also Oro to master keeping his Satsu energy at bay, Ryu uses that to become a master with the Power of nothingness or Ryu combines the non evil ways of the Satsu with the Power of Nothingness to finally to defeat Akuma. I wonder who the final boss of SF 6 will be.

Oni does not need to be canon. It ruins Akuma's character. No one but Oro is even near Akuma's full strength as it is. He earned all of his power through training and he doesn't need some freiza transformation. Everyone wants him to be some evil monster when he never was. He is canonically friends with Elena and that official artwork of him giving food to kids still exists...Capcom seems to forget that too.

Ryu actually used that exact technique to defeat oni in the udon comics. But they also badly nerfed oni in those so I wonder how he’ll hold up against the same oni who fought asura. Taht oni was overwhelmingly powerful

I think that Street Fighter needs to add characters that actually fit into this new narrative. Ryu:Ryu’s journey would continue even after the passing of his former master Gouken with Ryu wanting to master the power of nothingness and finally become one with it. Ken Masters:Ken’s career as a martial artist would begin to wind down as he would seen begin to focus primarily on his family and this would be his farewell story in this game. Chun Li:After the death and defeat of Shadaloo’s master,Chun Li decides to find a new purpose and would decide to carry on the teachings of Gen creating her own martial arts school. Sagat:Would seek one more battle against Ryu to test how far he has come in his training only wanting to test his strength and knowledge. Akuma:Continuing on his path to reach heaven and become a more powerful being with Akuma giving more into his killing intent as he attempts to reach the promise land. Oni:Would be a DLC character added into the story with Oni’s path being the true ending of Akuma giving into the killing intent.

You know wants gonna happen?... Ryu is gonna be the new Gouken or Gotetsu later on in the Street Fighter Series to keep it going. I like how the Street Fighter 6 story is going with Ken darkening the lore a little bit with a bit of a cliffhanger. I think even the story of this video is the blueprint of whats gonna happen in the future of street fighter. Already laid out. Rose already said it😉👍. Modern, edgy with a new style. Everything repeats itself in its own way. Not all the time but sometimes. Whether in another universe or later in a future timeline. Mel is gonna be the Street Fighter version of Terry Howard. A kid in the modern time with edge, pain, and new flames of the Ansatsuken style, maybe with MMA as well because. Either he's gonna be the New MC or one the new MC to take the mantle. Their storing him for right now. letting the story bake. Potential Teachers, rivals, influence to Mel: memories with ken, Luke, Maybe Gouki in a dark teenage rebellious stage (which would be dope). Runs into Sakura because of her style. Then Ryu to help open his eyes, to humble the kid. I can already see the future it as a Street Fighter fan. The loreis gonna be dope🔥🔥🔥.

Oni is not Akuma it is like a heartless in kingdom heart when you awaken to the satsui no hado you create another being like Kage for Ryu that try to devour you those are form of satsui no hado they are more a if pass and non-canon.
