@The Futur Lovely Video clip! Sorry for the intrusion, I would love your opinion. Have you thought about - Fiymaria Graphic Gainer (probably on Google)? It is a great exclusive guide for getting the best graphic design for your project minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my best friend Jordan finally got astronomical success with it.

Great design critique! For the FIFA poster, I'd actually prefer the original poster. I understand and appreciate positive and negative space. But, it seems to me that the original artwork (country names, contrast wise) creates more legibility for web accessibility. The knockout orange block text feels weak in comparison to the white against the solid orange background. My 2 cents.
@luisfmoreno5 жыл бұрын
James Chiu completely agree
@auntymel13313 жыл бұрын
My thoughts too. If this poster going to be big on a wall, the original one will look better espcially from distance.
@briannaflynn3824 Жыл бұрын
I agree. I thin you could have combined the ideas though and taken the white and made it an orange with either less opacity or just the same orange but a light color.

This was suuuuper helpful. It's so easy to spend hours pouring over a design, but it's crucial to take a step back and make sure you are hitting the fundamentals strong before diving back in. In fact, starting with nailing the basics would probably save a lot of time.

You have been asked by the National Eye Institute & Cantoone to create a simple color reference guide for people with Rod monochromacy or achromatopsia. This guide should allow them freedom to create color combinations, which are harmonious (based on color wheel theory).

Great video, thanks you. One thought I had during this video was about the use of "feeling". If I passed a logo or any design onto 10 professional designers for critique, each would feel its done at different places depending on their experience. How does any designer say "this logo is done"?

@AmieB20056 жыл бұрын
Nishant Bilkhiwal You're already judging a school by what they're teaching you just in the first two weeks? How long IS this program? 6 months, a year? 4 years? That depends. If it's a short-run course, obviously you don't want to spend half the course on paper and pencil seeing that animation involves a lot more technically than traditional art; which brings me to my second point. It also depends on what kind of animation program you are in. Is it traditional art (cell animation), or is it digital motion graphics? Either way, it is always good to have some foundation in fine arts as every good process ALWAYS starts on paper first. However, it makes sense if you are in a traditional program that you will be mostly sticking to paper. If the program is digital, you are more than likely being taught a base skillset that every designer, traditional or not, should have in their toolbox, and later moving on to more technical work on the computer. Every design program always tests out those essentials first, but you can't judge a program in the first two weeks! Don't you know the curriculum description? Isn't there a list detailing the entire coursework for the program?

Liked the video. That said, the change to the first poster was a stylistic one, not necessarily an improvement in composition. With borders being used for the larger font, the bold text in the central image still allows the eye to be drawn inward, keeping the reader focused squarely on the main communication point of the design. Fundamentally, the original design wasn't really flawed, and I actually preferred it to the revised one, which lost some of the original design's impact.
