I once had a PE teacher who always talked down to me. She said pilates wasn't a real sport and couldn't actually keep you fit. I usually do weightlifting and decided to go back to pilates for a bit. Would love to see her attempt this because it was a real challenge for me and got me sweating!

I started doing your classes at the beginning of lockdown-i am 72 years old and haven't done any excercises for years. Love the standing workouts-find them very challenging but love them-you have helped to get through these very strange times-thank you.

I am 67 years old woman and I really have enjoyed all of your standing workouts. I will eventually try the floor work but getting up and down will have to improve more. You do a great job! Please stay on the air.

Coming back and doing this class I did when I first started. Discovering how well I have improved my balance. I used to have to hold onto a chair. Today, without a chair, I only wobbled on a couple of routines. - Faye from PEI, 🇨🇦

Hello Rachel, I found you recently and have tried several of your classes. I liked this one the best as it is so different to other Pilates classes I have found.. as I progress through the body workouts in graduated sessions I am amazed with the progress from in the chair leg work to increasing balance and muscle tone, much needed following a flare from RA. I call Pilates my physical therapy! I have been doing Pilates for over 20 years and have been "locked out " of my classes due to corona! Found your channel looking for online options. Hi Rachel, I got hooked on your seniors standing Pilates and can't get enough! My strength and balance has increased and my back is much less achy. Dear Rachel, thank you so much for these classes. I have just finished this class and my spectacles are steaming up! I am following you from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I "discovered" you during the lock-down. In South Africa the lock-down rules are still very strict and the gyms are still closed. I fell in 2003, hurt by back very badly and subsequently had a couple of operations. I have been doing Pilates regularity and it brings great relief. I have been doing 4 of your same standing workouts for three months (they are my favorites), still enjoy the total body workout, but this one today really challenged my balance. Next time I will hold on lightly to a built in shelf in my workout room during the tougher balancing exercises! Blessings, Lauren

Thank you Rachel; hello from California. I got hooked on your standing sessions in March when we started shelter in place and my gym closed. These routines have been a life saver, as i am not a fan of mat work. I like to combine several 10 or 15 min sets to do 30 to 45 min a few times a week. This was a bit more challenging than prior standing routines, and was fantastic. Thank you for doing a more intense 30 min set. I loved it.

Found your classes and I wanted to tell you how much they are helping me feel better. I am 67 and used to pushing my body but I can’t do the intensity anymore. These are challenging however, but I don’t end up hurting myself . I have only been using them a few weeks , it seems I am already seeing wonderful results in tone . Is it possible at my age after just such a short time. Thanks you are a very skilled teacher👍

Hi Rachel, I'm so glad I found you! I am a rider and got back to it recently after the heat wave here and was told my legs aren't strong. I have had one hip replacement and have severe osteoarthritis in my other hip now, so trying to keep active and strong. Already, your classes have helped me enormously. Thank you!

@@Rye31722 Hi Amy! I feel for you. Some days are great and some days are terrible with the knees. Since I’ve been doing Rachel’s workouts I’m feeling much better. I also take epsom salt baths every morning which helps a lot. Good luck to you and take care! 😊🌻
