Not at all what I’ve been taught the one I have been taught (yes I am a white belt) is the leg push then knee slide which hardly works right especially on anyone good or who can do a sit-up this is absolutely what I will be trying from now on thank you for this video

There is so much information here. I'm taking notes and screenshots so I can review all of these steps in detail, at it's taken me 3 hours to document the first 4 minutes. Makes me wonder if 1 minute of real time BJJ instruction has the potential to be unpacked for 1 hour and digested slowly for beginners like myself. This has to be a more valuable use of "off the mat" time than my typical cursory skimming of fun to watch but impossible to absorb advanced videos. Especially when I don't even have enough general understanding of BJJ to distinguish useful techniques from pipe dream moves for someone at my level.

Slick and efficient technique. What I'm afraid of when you pressure as hard when they are stacked it'll hurt lower back (his knee is more or less in front of his face and spine is under pressure) and could cause seriously and long lasting trouble with the vertebrae discs. If we all use this we all will soon have problems with lower back. Any comments?

I’m at a Relson Gracie academy. 59 year old chubby white belt. Most guys here start rolling by sitting and facing each other. I’m grabbing ankles and racing to get to side control. I’m slow so it’s not working well.

You can do the scissor. Or you can do a modified triangle where you put your leg around there neck like a normal triangle then put the same side forearm on the other side of their neck and grab your shin. Then figure four the legs and squeeze. Hard as shit to get out of once the forearm is there

People usually take some grips on the arms before opening their legs. if they have a grip on just one arm, the pass wont work and you will get triangled.
