Fantastic takeoff video from the unique airport Corfu. Beginning with the Ryanair takeoff during taxi way, the u-turn with view to the Kanoni Perama Bridge with Vlachera monastery and with the amasing sunset footage at the End. Big like for this great job and the great performance of the Sony AX53 camera. Today I just uploaded a short video from a Condor take off in the new striped socks design.

Good to see implementation of Runway ID system - how long has this been in operation? Is it now common in EU airports? Is it an expensive airport/aircraft interface that only works on fitted aircraft? Not only approaching runway (heading) but on runway heading and runway length! This system could have prevented many runway incursion and incorrect runway landings/takeoffs that were fatal and many more that were averted at the last seconds by crew or ATC intervention.

What are those little fins for on the nose? distribution of air or water for some reason?

The 737 has 10 small vortex generators above the radome. These reduce the cockpit noise from the windshield by 3dB, yet the 737 cockpit is still quite loud compared to the A320! Thanks for watching, stay tuned!

Wow that was a short rollout to takeoff. Was the passenger load very light this flight?

We used 24K for departure as the runway at Corfu is actually not long! Load was about 3/4 full.
