I noticed the hobgoblin legendary hero was absent. He makes hobgoblins extremely powerful and is himself a very good lord-sniper (I had him weave through zombie hordes and shank Ghorst to death on several occasions). It was funny just having a singular chaos dwarf warlord sitting on his flying mount watching the industry-planted union below wreak havoc on even Grimgor's personal army.

I’ll never forget the game I played as Repanse de Leon. Early in the campaign, Thorek Ironbrow declared war on me. I wiped him out, but apparently word gets around. As a result of my short person genocide, all of the dwarves were at -1000+ in relations when I met them. For the rest of the campaign I was beset by dwarves, and the wood elves and the empire whom the dwarves roped in during the late game. By the time I got the campaign victory, I was at war with all of the Order factions, and trading with chaos dwarves and skaven. Truly the most chivalric Brettonian game ever.

I love the Chorfs! Once you figure out how their economy works they get crazy powerful. Late game I had more money than I knew what to do with. But yeah, you gotta pluck out Ghorst ASAP. He'll take the damn wood elves tree and keep spawning out of it if you don't burn him out. After that its Grimgor. The asshole is more trouble than he's worth and loves to spawn camp all your caravans. Dick move Ironhide. Also its good to try and make friends with any and all chaos factions. Kugath is a good friend to have, but if you can get Archaeon its fantastic. He can be kind of a dick otherwise.
