Also, I'm willing to bet that even while nerfed his reaction would appear instantaneous to non-speedsters. The real only reason is lazy writing.

When Alexander Luthor abandoned Ultraman mid-fight to get himself more powers it's not because he though Ultraman beneath his notice, on the contrary, he wanted to max out his powers by stealing available powers before taking him on to maximize his chances of success. It was a tactical choice, do the fights he's more likely to win becoming more powerful first.

You can see if you can find some of the 1950s animation on KZbin so I don't know if you'll find the exact clip. It was sort of a parallel to Black Adam though I don't know if the demon looking Critter came out before Black Adam or not

I imagine in another realm, with almost the same out, some people decides to make clones, of the dead (Justice League) members in secret, at a hidden location. In addition I imagine this very secret, hidden location, is completely inlined with led, from top surface, to the underground bottom of it. Now I imagine that these cloned heroes, are made by genuinely good individuals, and so not one is made by Lex Luthor. In addition I imagine that, the genuine good individuals, are scientists who live their lives by a moral-code, and that includes when they do scientific work.

Flaming Skull 1941 & Ghost Rider 1972 before Atomic Skull 1978 and Mister Bones 1985. Mr. Bones costumes borrows from Black Terror's costume from 1941. Also Cat Woman didn't have her iconic costume originally, it was copied from Miss Fury who had a very similar costume in 1941. The Batman's gloves were copied from an earlier character called Black Bat from pulp fiction books of 1933.
