Why Narada Muni Does Not Stay In One Place?
If you are aware about Narad Muni, you will know that he is known to carry around his Veena and travel the entire universe, one place to another all the time, chanting the name of Narayana. But have we ever wondered why is he always roaming? Why does he not stay in one place? Does he not have a place to settle, when other Gods have a place to live, like Shiva lives in Kailash, Vishnu is Vaikuntha Dhaam and Devtas in Svargalok (Heaven).
If you think that roaming around and gathering gossip is just a part of Narada’s personality, then let us bring to you the story of the curse that made Narada Muni the kind of sage he is known for today.
When Brahma created and populated the Earth, he appointed Daksha as the ruler of the all living beings on Earth, and hence he was called Prajapati Daksh. Upon becoming the Prajapati, it was Daksha’s responsibility to populate the earth with Saatvik (good and pure) beings and administer everything in the world and establish rules wherever necessary, but Narada causes him trouble through the process.
When Dakṣa met Nārada Muni, he became furious ready to curse the sage.

My mom had told me a different story about this. According to the story Narad muni was Brahma's first son taken birth to rule the people of earth, but he chose to be a great vishnu bhakt thus not following his father's wish. Angry Brahma cursed Narad Muni thatt he will keep saying Narayan Narayan all the time and will have no residence. Later, Daksh was born to rule the people.

No you are completely wrong, no exact number is known for Daksha's daughters, his daughters like Aditi, Diti, Danu, Kadru, Surbhi, Muni etc. were married to Rishi Kashyapa. His daughter Swaha was married to Agni Dev and another daughter Anusuya to Rishi Atri, and then yes there are the 27 wives of Chandra including Rohini and then there was Mata Sati who married Lord Shiva but the number of daughtets surely surpasses 28.

Nearby there is Koteshwar temple with swayambhu shivling, in the point of the lingam are some iron nails driven into it by Khilji according to the local story. I found a group in reddit a couple of years ago and their guys and girls were cracking jokes about her and Shiva saying that their relationship was like a college student puppy love stuff, the perpetual story of a bratty heroine and a angry hero with a bad boy type image. Don't wanna go into the details but they're delivering a few nasty insults so much so that even a more or less liberal minded culturally hindu guy like myself ended up debating them. Obviously they responed me saying I'm behaving like a fundamentalist and paranoid. Later I realized that they're actually right on the argument, not only was her sacrifice an utter failure but also extremely immature for a goddess of her stature. I mean can you imagine Ananda committing suicide if Buddha was insulted by someone? No way in hell would that have happened? So it's pretty obvious as to who is perfect and who is not. 🤷‍♂️

Krishna himself had shown his real / true to Arjuna and also at the time of his birth, in jail, to his parents. There is a clear narration how god looked like. God had no name, no organs, no body no male / female body, no shape . How can we state good Krishna, God shiva God Brahma Laxmi Parvathi are different gods despite god himself proving/ exhibiting the true form . Is it not ignorance ? In Sanskrit each word has more than 10000 meanings. Each person interprets according to his level,of understanding. But a truly knowledgeable person can give more apt interpretation. Knowledge means Guru means God. Guru ( God) is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu Guru is Shiv. Meaning knowledge is God. Please acquire knowledge, you will be near to God. Knowledge about the purpose of your birth as a human being , being superior to other living beings is also important. Searching for knowledge is practicing Hinduism. Being superior to other living beings, you are the most eligibile living being to search / find out truth/ acquire knowledge and get out of the cycle of births and deaths, a billion times and enjoy celestial pleasure for ever. So take advantage of the human birth. Einstein said, every action has an equal a new opposite reaction. In Vedas, it was already mentioned as ‘ law of karma” what ever you do ( good or bad actions/ thoughts) , you will it will come back to you as a fruit of your action .

I agree with Daksha on his duty to populate the world, but I can't help but side more with Narad Muni to enjoy eternal bliss and liberation from material world and be whole again with The Supreme Lord. He represents exactly what I want to do -- to be free, to be One with Lord and his Universe. And Daksha represents what I have to do as expected by my family and the society -- to marry, beget children and continue life. It is duty versus individuality. Do you know previous yuga people have lived lakhs and thousands of lifespan as common people . Sat yuga people have lived for common people for 1 lakh years , treta yuga people have lived for lifespan for common people of 10,000 years , dwapar yuga common people lived for 1000 years and kali yuga people can live only for average 100 years. Yogis muni and Acharya lived far far and do penannces and services for people to please lord , prajapatis also lived far far for doing duties and plz lord. Shri raam appeared here for 11,000 years and rules whole ayodhya which was huge . And of how such huge sons have been born , so many times rajas do yagyas and requested the demigods to benedict them , for example very famous kunti mata has given a mantra as blessing by a muni that she can pray to any demigod and have a son as benediction , karna was born from sun God, also the pandavas were born in forest by benediction from the same mantra kunti Maharani got yudhistur Maharaj was born by dharmraj , bhim was born by powerful vayu dev , arjuna was born by indra dev and nakula and sahadev were born from a twin demi God . 🙏🏻 . You have also listened hunuman is said to be a vayu Putra he was also born out of benediction thought he was incarnation of lord Shiva for serving the lord raam . It is their yogic strength that they can nurture and manage 2000 sons and here we cannot do 1 . May this satisfies some of you .

Because in hinduism the man's gotra is the one that is given to the children nd women take up the gotra of the man . Hence if his daughters married men , they would have not been able to take the gotra nd legacy of the king to future generations... and yes its divine through a story

You know previous yuga people have lakhs , thousands of life span . Sat yuga people have life span of utmost for common people was 1 lakh years . Yogi lives more and more to do services and please lord . Prajapatis also lived far far years to serve lord in doing the duties well . Treta yuga people have life span of utmost for common people was 10,000 years. Dwapar yuga people have life span of utmost of common people 1000 years . And kali yuga people have only 100 years for common people as average . Shri raam lived for 11,000 years . And another interesting thing is that the heights if sat yuga people were longest then it decreased to treta to dwapar to kali yuga . It is found evidences of many giant people in past very very back . And beside the sons and daughter are prayed by rajas from yagyas to demigods to have so many comes from them . It's there yogic strength that they can manage these huge children very well that we cannot manage by 1 . 🙏🏻
