It is rare that I actually find 2 ppl who really can articulate their points this well. Their point of view on life and business is very healthy and I also really love to see some representation of a strong and independent woman pulling her weight both in business and in the marriage. There is no BS talk with either of them no filler, just straight to the point - which I appreciate.

I mean, my hypothesis: It's simply because they are both sooo freaking good at sales. They sell, they can sell, they are BOTH literal masters (maybe even grandmasters) at it. Cause the point of selling, like Alex likes to teach: Enable the other person to make a decision -> and clear communication is extremely helpful in getting information for a decision across. 🔥 You agree/Which point ya disagree with :) ?

I just got finished up with watching the full interview - The FTX Situation was actually such an incredible discussion and it's a shame it's at the end as not as many people will get to it. The interesting piece wasn't even the FTX relevance but instead seeing a representation of Alex's mentoring of a peer, and Graham's grace in receiving it. It was a moment of being a fly in the wall in a room full of exceptional individuals that just happened to be caught on camera. The way Alex addressed all of Graham's concerns, by breaking it down, taking it piece by piece, finding ground on the situation and of course leaving Graham room to reply was masterful. Loved the interview, thank you so much to the four of you for taking part in this!

Good but it feels weird when he said I have no problem give the money away. I don’t think that’s true at all because that would make him into a good person to the eyes of people. But I think he is more attached to the money he made from sponsoring FTX than to being a good person.
@dishant1313

@Lethcode

@@jonathanlivingston7358 I don't want to assign moral judgements to him. But in the context of the questions he was asking. He wanted to keep the reputation of the brand and if donating the money would make it right he was willing to do it. I don't believe Graham went out of his way to intentionally harm people and I also believe the look on his face when he said it was he doesn't ever want anyone hurt by his advertisers. I think Alex's advice was perfect in the situation that the problem had more to do with Graham possibly not having a clean conscious. Did he get money from a company that was cheating? Yes. Was FTX lying to Blackrock and other investors, yes. It comes more to the question of how much research do I need to do in anything I promote or associate myself with?

Alex's talk regarding writing a book (2:00:01 - 2:05:31) touched incredibly deeply - the look Alex holds has so much passion and honesty about writing the best book he possibly he can. It's hard to fake such deep intent if you have ill-meaning, so his genuine energy about this book has me very excited to read it. I adored Leila's perspective on dating, it's one thing I've been struggling heavily with since trying to move my life forward. I've always been someone who doesn't really have time or want friends, and I've been exhausted from wasting time trying to do the "normal" dating scene. Going into dates strong instead and with the complete intent of finding someone of equal logic and build chemistry later is exactly how I've wanted to be but haven't know what it was I was looking for. Seeing these two on camera together was the most adorable thing as well, they are both such powerful people but there softness for each other was heart melting ♥.

There's deserving hence receiving & expecting to receive! Alex talks about the fact that you're not to condition or limit the Universe in terms of what & how you receive because it is right there a shrinking of the possibilities that are originally, unlimitedly & eternally available for you. But that's the point ☝🏼 he's actually saying that deserving is allowed. Why? Because deserving is yours by birthright. It's unconditional! It's yours because you simply are. You are the "child" of the Universe that is taking care of you & providing for you at all times unconditionally. This is deserving in its root & untainted meaning! Expectations are coming from a limited perspective of self which is the Ego, the limited self, the conditioned self which only can receive on conditional terms & based on conditional relationship dynamics! This is self & Universe limiting expectation. He chooses not to go for this kind of behaviour. Regardless you're ever deserving which we learnt not to believe in or this is hard for us to believe in due to our human limitations & conditioning & programming that we have learnt through civilization propaganda.

Also regarding FTX (and hopefully I’m speaking for many people): I totally get it and huge mistakes happens to everyone at some point, even if they do everything right. Your response and integrity to the situation Graham made me trust you a lot MORE. Not less but more (referencing to the TED talk by Jocko Willink where he admitted his faults that several people got killed in a military incident, and got respected for his honesty). Loved this podcast! Graham, you already have apologized. Move on, and your real supporters will continue this journey with you. As a seasoned entrepreneur, I assert that it’s impossible to do business and avoid working with at least a few clowns. You’ve taken a hard blow to the body; shake it off-just as you did with your boxing training. Keep pushing through this adversity to the other side; let your real character continue to shine brightly-which will silence all of the haters and trolls. Haters hate; trolls will troll; ignore the nonsense (and you’ll avoid playing a minor role in their drama). Realtors sell homes as-is and where-is: caveat emptor. Some buyers, who don’t conduct a thorough enough due diligence, will end up acquiring a money pit. Yet, in the hands of other buyers, those homes might return handsome profits. The difference, in the experience of both groups of buyers, comes down to their processes.
