Quick corrections While hagfish do emit slime that absorbs water to expand 30+ times in volume, more interesting is how they themselves escape their slime. They literally tie themselves in knots to "wipe off" excess slime, and it's surprisingly effective The cone snails *don't* spew poison like the visuals imply. If something is injected to the blood stream it is a venom not a poison. It winds me up when people say something is poisonous when it's venomous! Poison is ingested and venom is injected. That is a huge difference. If I hear someone refer to a snake as poisonous it makes me irrationaly angry. 🤣🤣
