imo one thing to note about this map (or most very small maps) is that you really need to let people out of whatever bonus you want to take. leaving stacks everywhere just makes people hit large numbers and might get you killed

I love fixed games on France with at least one bot. They're my favorite mindless game to play when I have a break in my workday. Most of my games turn into a progressive-like scenarios where you can chain kills off of 10 trades and only take like 20 minutes to play. But it depends on how aggressive your opponents are playing because the opposite can happen where everyone stalemates and stacks troops, but that is why I like to add at least one bot.

I had a great progressive win yesterday. I was able to make 2 profitable kills in a row. However, I still should of lost, because in the 1v1 battle, my opponent got a 50 trade before me. However, he ended up locking it in Australia and ran out of time before he could move it. Then I used my set on 4 to take everything but Australia. I was NOT unlocking the 40 stack. And thanks to that, with all the other bonuses, I killed him on my next turn. Thank you Pete for teaching me how to win. I also made it to intermediate. Also, thanks for teaching us how to play all of the maps. I look forward to it every week.

Got fixated on the green kill. It was 31 v 25 with 12 total attacks needed. Should have gone for blue jnstead. They were both sitting on 4 cards and it would have been 31 v 27, but with only 5 attacks needed

Yeah, the total number of attacks is actually very important, as you have to leave a 1 in every territory. I think that's often and easily overlooked, and I agree the blue kill was a much better option.

I'm always routing for you to skip in 1st position on a small map. I feel it's so much better than hitting a 2 or 3, even if you have the stack to do it. Way to go! I wonder why you were targeting green though... Harder kill than blue, not even a human opponent, and moreover... just trade and sit on a stack and wait seemed like the best option without a profitable kill. I mean you wouldn't be killed on 1 or 2 cards, right? GG tho! ❤ Tough game. Really accurate early prediction on that 6 exterior getting slammed.

Pete, I hate risk now because i have lost 6 games in a row because people won multiple 2v1s blitz against me. I never have a set on 4 and I often get teamed on. It infuriates me when I have 60 troops and someone blitzes it with a 40 stack and wins but I lose 39 on a single troop. I have decided to never play it again.

That was an ugly game for all. Why try to kill the bot? Bots can be like an ally or at least are easy do defeat in a one on one end game. I think you made a rare mistake. Then three players blow it. Was anyone awake yet? lol
