Watching you and Anna contentedly working away on your tree packaging has really brightened my day. I left my job as a full time primary teacher five years ago as it was getting too much with my MS. Watching your videos has been a true highlight of my days at home alone. You have truly made me feel that living a quiet life filled with little tasks done with love is a life filled with value. You have inspired me to create my own Christmas cards each year and to make feltboard stories for a teacher friend. I’ve made three books by following your instructions. I’ve collected some fabric and am almost ready to begin some sort of quilting project. I putter and rest and am quietly content. And you are in a large part responsible for this peace I have found with my quieter life at home. I have just wanted so much to tell you that but have only recently started commenting. Thank you.

April, Marilyn here. I agree with you. I am also retired and I am fairly new on the LGS and I literally watch Kate’s videos night and day . I find inspiration , contentment and peace and GREAT comfort in her quiet gentle ways. She really draws one in to make you feel part of her cherished family. I have started making small projects inspired by her and even have adopted the colors pink and green! I try to recreate a version of TLHH in my daily life now and corners of my home. So welcome to the “SOFA” ! You , like myself, have stumbled onto a most treasured experience; to know our Kate. Marilyn USA

I love the bag idea. I’ve just sold my tiny condo and had everything moved into my new senior apt with 3 bedrooms 2 bath. Now I have a dedicated art room. I’ll be looking for a new sewing machine. I make a different ornament every year to send in family packages and this will be perfect. I have tons of rumpled packing paper that will make perfect wrapping paper. Instead of sewing I’ll stamp them with a potato stamp. I’m gonna use pinking shears on the felt outer edge.
