Zero maintenance and zero repairs over the 98K total miles other than some upholstery issues on the seats. The electrical stuff is all Bosch. They should have called it the Bosch 500 and it would have sold better. High five to Bosch. The ownership experience was so good that I would consider the new 500e if the deal was right, and in a few months or a year, it might be. You would think 120HP and the lightest car in its class would actually make it somewhat sporty, especially considering that electric cars tend to be faster off the line in general! Would love to know what the 0-60 time is, if any!
@alexringb2 ай бұрын
I live in Greece and the other day after a year of owning mine, I measured it with Dragy and it repeatedly did 0-60mph in 8.01 to 8.02 and 0-100kph (62mph) in 8.49 to 8.50. The 1/4 mile was also very repeatable at 16.02 to 16.05 @86mph. All measurements were done in two ways , starting with 70% and ending with 60% battery charge. Mind you I own a 3.8 sec 0-60 mph car (a tuned 440i BMW) and the Fiat feels pretty swift and absolutely sufficient in town driving. I needed the smallest possible "proper" EV for a daily commuter and the little Fiat is brilliant.

Probably the last bargain EV was the Chevy Bolt. $27,000 MSRP. 249 mile range (has no problem doing a little over 300 miles with mostly city driving). Plenty of interior room. More power available compared to the Fiat 500e. Qualified for the $7500 Fed Rebate. This Fiat 500e is just overpriced for what it is.

I work at a Fiat Workshop in Germany. For the People wondering the clear thing sticking out of the front fenders is actually the Turn Signal for our german Model/Euro Models. Here in germany the entry trim has Halogen Lights in the front even the Turn signals but still in the same housing as the LED ones. A few design observations. 1) A missed opportunity to use the translucent plastic {the one with the flag} as a side marker repeater. 2) If you remove the stem and the stroke (the vertical and horizontal lines) of the "5" in the 500, you get 3/4 of an Audi. 3) A horizontal cutout in the cupholder in the shape of the "0" in 500, which can double as a phone holder when placed in the slit.
