You should wipe dishes down before you dishwasher. Saves some time. Dishwashers blow though. They are ass, the time it takes to wash 2 pots, 4 dishes, 4 spoons 2 butter knives and 3 cups (since mom uses a stanley) is miniscule.. you can't do anything in the time it takes to wash those compared to dishwasher'ing them..

⁠@@tomguglielmo9805I don’t want to speak ill about you or your dishwasher because frankly idk your life, but that sounds crazy to me. My dishwasher is cleans dishes and I don’t have to do almost anything prior to putting them in. Unless there is obvious loose food/sauce on them (which I’ll rinse or remove), I just pop them in and boom comes out good. Very little water use and it’s free time. KZbin channel called technology connections has gone into excruciating detail on dishwashers and getting them to work right if you ever feeling like looking into it.
