Been married for almost 20 years... we've had a lot of issues in our sex life until the day we became comfortable having a conversation about it.. with this podcast I've learnt that as married couples truly our challenges are almost similar... as a man I relate with everything the gentleman is saying and I can hear my wife through the lady. Keep on working on your marriage guys.. be blessed.❤

Sheesh. Mr Makh, we need you to put together a men's conference. If I was on social media, I would reach out to you for some one-on-one time. Our churches don't do enough to talk about these things. And I find that even church leaders aren't always equipped to counsel us as married men regarding these things. Also, too many men are refusing to be vulnerable enough to have these chats. Society forces men into boxes and generalizations. It leaves no room for nuance/different experiences. Your sharing this convo is making room!

OMG!! Love this podcast. I’m a sex and relationships teacher and I learned from this. I want to praise your darling husband for this conversation Mrs Makh because this conversation will bless many men and women. One thing I want to Mrs Makh is your body was not betraying you. That is a negative term towards your body. Your body was and is always trying to communicate messages to you, if you don’t listen then the results will be painful. It’s like saying to a baby “why are you crying?? Stop it”. That won’t help you, they’re crying because that is how babies communicate their needs. I hope you get my point. Great podcast🎉🎉

Eish Bafethu what a subject Ziyakhala la This has been my cry to the Lord that Daddy this topic is so ignored in our churches.thorough attention to this most significant aspect of marriage is so inadequate We need to explore it more,it is so deep qnd has caused a lot of divorces and adultery in the body of Christ. I thank the Holy Spirit who always help my husband and I to navigate this aspect especially when I found myself not desiring him 18yrs later but God intervened and helped us find the root cause of the problem,I tell you in such seasons love is tested and it is love that Prevails and causes us to win and come to the other side. Indeed Intimacy is emotional, intellectual and spiritual connection more than the physical connection. Asisizaneni ucantsi lubalulekile emshadweni, asifundisaneni sithole amandla amasha. Siyafika kwi season yokungafunani sidlule through God and Intentionality. May Men understand women in this subject and May women understand men in this area of our marriages.

I am trusting God and praying a lot about my future sex life but appreciate conversations like this so much! This topic is so real and often overlooked in relationships. Many married couples struggle with stress impacting their sex lives, and it’s important to talk about it openly. Life’s pressures-work, kids, financial worries-can drain emotional energy and leave little room for intimacy. Sometimes it’s not just about physical desire, but mental and emotional exhaustion. Understanding that stress can kill the mood is key, and working together to reduce stress, communicate openly, and prioritize connection can make a big difference

i am happy, you highlighted the fact as man we are not having this conversation amongst ourselves and even when we do try to have them, its always meet with all acting like we are performing like a stallion and everything is going well. our ego/pride is the problem when it comes to such topics and it doesn't help that its expected of us to be this high performing human when it comes to the bedroom. unfortunately until us 'gents' start opening up to each other, we will still straggle in silence while we are trying to figure it out on our own. Thank you for the conversation

Yaaay! So glad to have you back! Let's do more topics! Godly marriages are up!! You both are doing the Lord's work❤❤🎉🎉. Let's help reshape marriage and relief people from cultural expectations. Marriage was created by God, not culture and its precepts. So it is so important what you 2 are doing, 2 people whose marriage is centered in God, to speak on this, with God's counsel. ❤ Vulnerable, transparent, safe space and healing at the same time! Can't wait for people to be encouraged 🎉🎉Let's goo!

Guys I missed you so much. Thank you for having this conversation although I was a bit skeptical because I’m unmarried so I thought it would be irrelevant for me. However as always I have found a very good lesson about communication, those tough conversations are necessary in a relationship. Also it sounds like it’s a normal thing that happens because in this life, all other factors around intimacy are inevitable to arise and it will affect performance one way or the other, we have to expect such that it might possibly happen. It’s a realistic expectation. I appreciate you ❤

I agree with the two of you 100% on everything. I am happy you're Christians. I am happy you're both honest. I am happy you are also the best of best friends and you're talking. But I am also happy you are not modelling your relationship to some fiction out there. a) Why is 10 yrs in many marriages the tipping point, how did you deal with sin, lust temptations? b) For the longest of time as a Christian you were not permitted to have sex, suddenly you're married and what was sinful is suddenly holy? c) Why do liberals feel in a7 billion world how can you remain committed to one person only? d) How safe or unsafe is a virgin man marrying an experienced lady in the bedroom? e) Do parents deserve the voice to choose a family to marry from, they have a discernment because roots and fruits are interrelated ? God bless your marriage 🙏
