Nissa, Voice of Zendikar is a HUGE add for this deck. A constant source of +1 +1 counters! I built this deck with Nissa and call it "Crazy cat lady" and it works very well.

Nissa is awesome for this deck! Against the meta we were dealing with, we went with something WAY more aggressive, but yeah, Nissa is a solid add here for sure.

just realised, to be eternalized the pouncer had to participate and win the 5 trials... And it's not legendary so that needed to happen regularly. Would be nice to know the background story like "oh, looks like your crop isn't full... well, here take this cat" and later "so the cat survived (again)... rules are rules so it get's a place in the after life, i think."

the manticor is kind of understandable, since it could eliminates everyone in the trial and therefore they decide to eternalize the it. embalm is different from eternalize as basically every dead person is getting embalmed to do work. However the Resilient Khenra is a good point. (but i still like my story more :p)

It's not that tough. Lands with cycling already have value. He said that right in the video about Scattered Groves; just run a handful of cycle deserts instead. Also consider Shefet Dunes over Hashep Oasis. You're probably going to have more than three Cat creatures on your board. The damage output is just better.

We were using Prepare//Fight, and Collective Effort ended up anthem'ing our cats so often and doubled up as Smite the Monstrous, we just couldn't cut it. I LOVE Prepare//Fight though. It would be in this slot if the Effort wasn't.

I have been running a version of this deck for a couple weeks and it's pretty sweet. I had thrown in Oketra and Odric, Lunarch Marshal for the luls of getting double strike, indestructible, lifelink, vigilant creatures each combat.

A card which is hugely underrated in this deck is Majestic Myriarch. It will come out a 14/14 most of the time, with lifelink and doublestrike. The amount of games this has won me has been awesome.

6:48 What's up with the Tranquil Expanse? The art and flavor text shows it's from Kaladesh, presumably the Ajani planeswalker deck, but the expansion symbol is Amonkhet? And the set info in the bottom left says Amonkhet! None of the Amonkhet planeswalker decks were GW, so no Amonkhet Tranquil Expanses should exist. So why is it Amonkhet?? This bugs me so much!

As any Limited player knows, immediate board impact matters. Anointed Procession can't do jack until at least turn 5, and that's usually two Cats, right? Powerful in theory. Just not fast enough.

Thoughts on using Uncage the Menagerie to be a toolbox card for the deck? Considering how many 2 drops are in the deck, it'd serve as a Chord/CoCo mix for the deck.

I saw this deck coming from light years away, I have tested my own version and it's very similar to this one. However, I run playsets of sacred cat and blossoming defense. The sacred cat because I like doing an early trade, I gain one then get to embalm it again after I get the mimic out. Blossoming defense, because I don't like magma spray, goodbye embalm and eternalize. I'm also running always watching (2 of) but now I'm thinking of taking that out in favor of the collective. I happen to have 2 Gideon so running that too. Any thoughts?

I swapped Ajani, unyielding with Ajani, caller of the pride (more cats). Also replaced some of the support cards with anointed procession (ridiculous cats), call for unity (dead cats = bigger cats) and overwhelming splendor (because it turns gods into smurfs). It is hateful nasty. I also run Nactl war pride (but I don't play standard).

I'm playing a variant on this deck with some slight tweaks. I play a bit more removal (dissenter's deliverance, because artifacts and it has cycling if i don't play against artifacts, and blessed alliance works out quite a number of times) I also go a bit more on the token strategy and play sacred cat and oketra in the main with anointed procesion. also 2 rhonas because buffs on your lifelinkers in insane. anointed procesion with adorned pouncer is also just stupid. The only real problem i have with the deck is decks playing hour of devestation. heroic intervention doesn't help there so after the hour the game just mostly shifts away from me. Besides that, deck is dope

No sacred cat? It should replace a couple of the sideboard cats in the maindeck, and a one drop that comes back seems real good for this deck. T1 Sacred Cat T2 Mimic, cat dies in combat T3 Embalmed cat that's bigger in addition to a two drop! The main boarding side board threats is pretty interesting and seems tough since it doesn't disrupt the decks tempo if your opponent isn't playing enchantments/graveyard based/counters.

Felidar Sovereign? I know it may be costly, but running it as a one-of may pay off. I think it was recently reprinted in Battle for Zendikar, and it's a cat/beast. Also, if you have more than 40 life on the turn after you play it, you auto win. Of course, it curves in after Regal Caracal, but just winning the game sounds pretty good to me. Opinions?

You should've included sacred cat since you don't have any turn 1 plays and the cat can come back embalmed for only 1 white. Also...initiate's companion, which is useful for untapping pride sovereign to use again and it is also a cat...

Its in Amonkeht's planswalker decks and toolkits. There are cards printed in those that are reprints from other sets and exclusive cards that are not in the regular set. Still standard legal too. There are even tap lands from BFZ reprinted in those that will make them still standard legal even after BFZ's rotation.

Why didn't you include the white enchantment that makes it so that anytime a card would make a token or tokens it makes double the amount of tokens that card makes like when you play 1 of the cats that make 2 cat tokens it would make 4 cat tokens instead!
