Saw them in Santa Monica civic auditorium, (Small theater about 5,000 seats) the LA Forum, The Summit in Houston and spent a ton of money for Great Seats in Charlotte. 5 rows off the side of the stage and no obstructions

I grew up in the late 70s and early 80s. I got to see or hear the evolution of Rock music. The 80s New Wave really began with The Cars in the late 70s. Of course the there were a lot of other bands as well. But I also think the music artist during the 70s were so much more creative with catchy melodies and choruses. The songs were heart felt and relatable. So much so that I find myself humming 70s music more than any other decade. The 70s definitely was a great time for music. Right on man!

I agree with 50% of what you said, Lyndsey is the man. The proof of that - it took two guitarists to fill Lyndsey's shoes when he wasn't in the band, and they still couldn't capture that sound. But as far as Stevie Nicks talents are concerned, I feel like she is trying to channel the spirit of Janis Joplin, and she fails miserably. Her voice is not strong enough to break through the rhythm section when they crank it up. Did you ever hear Janis get drowned out by her band? Nuf said! I don't blame Lyndsey for giving snide looks to Stevie when she acted like a prima dona, I would do the same thing. Apparently this she could not abide, and she stabbed Lyndsey in the back and got him kicked out of the band. I know I went off topic here, but I can't root for someone who is not a team player, and way overrated by the adults in the room who all had a crush on her in the first place.

And then the Band see's her start to take off into one of her "things" and that inspires them into an even deeper groove. Now they're rippin and Jammin, and Stevie starts to channel her inner Rhiannon, as whe spookily belts out this great tune. A sight to behold.

The lighting hitting her bangs and making a perfect shadow framing her face, combined with sparkly makeup - GREAT. Stevie has one of the most beautiful faces in rock ever. And she definitely has talent which stands on its own, regardless of anything else - amazing voice and range! Upon re-watching the video now, during the chorus, are you noticing something? Lindsey hangs back from his mic, while Stevie leans in! And he also has his huge smile on his face at most times, right? He is absolutely blown away by her voice and wanted to create the ultimate platform for her to shine, didn't want to get in the way himself too much. And he doesn't - I can barely hear his signature countertenor during the chorus, while Stevie's full-throated alto bursts forth like angelic tones that we love her for. And she puts so much more heat on her delivery of the chorus then she did on the studio version - I would've been absolutely thrilled to be in the audience on this performance. Though of course I should've said so when I first posted my comment, another wonderful upload, Midnight Special people! Keep it up!

Stevie’s voice was in top shape back then. They sound great in this video.

I agree. I saw her do several shows, every song to this level, which is absurd. She's kept it purring and while she's not even close to where she was here in her 20s [who is?] she's not bad for 75. I've seen her recently and while the voice is okay, she doesn't have the music passion that she once did. I suppose after singing the same songs for nearly 50 years, it would be impossible. But she's out there slinging it from time to time.

I am convinced that Stevie and Lindsay simply are not from this world. No discredit to the rest of the band... but it was Stevie and Lindsay that propelled this band into the stratosphere. Stevie has the unique voice, the lyrics, the stage presence, and the beauty. Lindsay can sound like multiple guitarists at the same time and fully understands what it means to be in the pocket, and what it means to step out of it to do something magical. This is one of those songs that I wish I could hear for the first time again.
