I literally had to do exactly what Bill's advice was. Moved alone 2000 miles from home,, opened a business, tried to expand way to fast, it failed and I ended up going to jail for forgetting to update my debit card for a rental car I was using. I then gained forty pounds while waiting to know if the charges would be dropped (they were). Took me about 24 months from that point to get back into shape, get the business going again and to build a new social circle where I'm at. The suffering makes you immeasurably stronger

A while back, my boyfriend decided to live off of unemployment and constantly played video games and watched TV. Meanwhile, I worked and went to school. I told him flat out, that I felt unattractive to him because of his lifestyle choices. Biologically, it makes sense that women would find "unemployed" as very unattractive in a man because if we ever got PREGNANT during that time, we'd be screwed. I also have a friend who broke up with her BF for also getting fired from a DUI. We're not gold digging whores, just realistic adults.

Men are attracted to women more for their physical appearance and women are attracted to men more based on their reliability. Nothing wrong about that as long as you're honest about what you want out of a relationship. Also if a woman expecting you to get your life together makes you that bitter, then yes you are better off leaving her and staying single. That's in the best interests of all parties involved.

herd a story through the woodwork at work, so one of the girls working in housekeeping has had the long term bf on notice when he lost not one, but both of his part time jobs, leaving her to work, she didn't nag or pressure him to find other work, but mentioned "now you had your break, time to start looking". Meanwhile its xmas time, and one month has turned into 4 months, hes collecting unemployment, but yeah, same mistake.. he got busted DUI (Driving under the influence of alcohol) this weekend, and the car got impounded, so she couldn't get to work the next day.. anyways, he doesn't know it yet, but that is him dumped. DUI means loss of licence, and you need transport to get to work around here, he will be on the unemployment another 6 months..
