The most underrated revenge is success. Sadly I have not always thought this subtle technique true but I sure do now
@Manuel-kl8jc5 жыл бұрын
Not really. It just means you didn't have the balls to succeed without the ex's actions. You can't get much more spineless than that. Not only did the ex's dump the shitr out of you, but you also wouldn't have done it without him/her.
@swill10205 жыл бұрын
Manu ... yeah i was 17. By the time I was 17 and 48 hours old i had moved on...went on to get my degree, spent 25 years working on Wall Street and now spend my time watching my almonds grow, riding my horse all the while having a good wife and two adult children starting their own families. ..my definition of success isn’t money as much as living a life well lived. I don’t need anyone to kick the shit out of my emotions to inspire me to do anything but when it does happen I try to learn something from it... because i am far from perfect.
@Heretic19814 жыл бұрын
Cliche, but true. In my experience, there's almost nothing you can do directly that'll do more damage or inspire more self reflection than letting them do it to themselves. Unless you luck out and they're interviewing and you're the hiring manager or something, feel free, but realistically. Then you be the guy taking his kids for a sherbert. That's all it takes, you keep all your dignity, and there's no blowback
@Dani2wheels11 жыл бұрын
Damn dude. I'm going through a very similar thing with my ex. She wrote me outta her life and got a new BF... Well I recently found out they broke up and she unblocked me on Facebook. I REALLY wanted to hit her up because I still like her even though I'm doing well in life. But thanks to this podcast I think I'll just act like she doesn't exist. Such good advice and in a way that I can really understand. Thanks Bill, ur a life saver.
