My daughter and I saw the movie today and really enjoyed it. The Aladna singing part was a bit too overdone in my opinion, but the rest was great. The X-Men thing could be interesting, though honestly, I really really hate the "multiverse" aspect of the MCU. But I was going to be very angry if Monica died, so I'm glad she's okay.

It’s fun, it’s not quantumania bad. It’s more like Multiverse of madness fun mixed with a little bit of ragnarok’s adventure. It’s really not as bad as everyone says. Some dialogue scenes are bad and the villain is pretty shit but the Marvels do a good job at holding eachother into respective characters for the most part.

Maybe Ironman 3/Thor: The Dark World sort of level in the Marvelverse. I did think that the storyline was a bit disjointed at times - to me it felt like they were trying to cram too much into it (maybe they could have lost the entire 'Goose kittens/SABRE station' subplot IMO and instead put that time into the main storyline development but maybe Disney wanted Flerkittens in the movie for the plushy merch value).

In fairness it could probably never have been as bad as all the YT channels dumping on it for clicks prior to release made it sound, so there's that. The reality is that sh*tting on Marvel (and other) movies before they even get to the trailer-release stage is a whole business model for some of those YT channels now. You start to notice after a while that in many cases their 'criticism' is just purely emotional 'pitchforks and flaming torches', not related to any actual information that they have.

So Carol Dancers is married cheating with Valerie......nice lol. Wow. Ok then lol. In the comics Carol Danvers does hook up with War Machine. Unlike Phase 1 where characters and their whole stories are introduced it's really feeling like Marvel is forcing the entry of all these new characters and it's clearly not working. Like the Xmen in this and young Avengers. It's not working Marvel. And the chemistry with Kate Bishop and Florence Pugh was awesome in the Hawkeye series. Those two alone were great and hilarious and people wanted them to have a series of their own. Be dumb not to have the new Black Widow in the new Avengers and only have her in the Thunderbolts.

That seems likely, but I don't think there are any guarantees at this point. They're adding Ms. Marvel, so that's a good sign they'll add other characters who weren't on the comics team, but there are also a lot of younger heroes in the MCU, and not all of them will make the cut. I'd say Ironheart is more likely to get added to the Young Avengers, but there's a chance she'll be a West Coast Avenger since she's rumored to be in Armor Wars, which was said to be a West Coast Avengers movie at one point. She could be on both teams though.

It is good if you're going to watch to just enjoy yourself. People complaining are looking for a complex story or a complete, perfect story or a something that doesn't have any gaps. There is no such thing, as even the EndGame has a lot of gaps if you really delve into it. With this movie,I had a lot of laughs because I didn't set any bar. Just watch with my brain at fun mode enjoying lines from Iman, watching the silly Aladna scenes and the Kahn family. Oh the Flerken scenes, what joy :)

Maybe I'm wrong but the embargo for spoilers usually are set on day of worldwide release or release with the biggest markets Aka US. This guy is trying to get views which I understand but I'm fairly sure (not 100%) that this doesn't fall under legal. Marvel and Disney won't go after him obviously but it is a bit slimy.

@@MandosCulture Why is it slimy to release a video with multiple, clear spoiler tags and warnings, 12 hours after the movie is available in half the world? Honest question. I would agree with spoiling the movie before it's out, but it was clearly tagged, and there's no rule for The Marvels that you have to wait until the US release. Also, there are videos with the actual credit scene that were up before my video.
