On today’s episode, Dr. Nick talks about the most nutrient-dense foods to eat. Nutrient density can be described in multiple ways, but the article discussed looked specifically at micronutrients that are commonly deficient in low- and middle-income groups across the globe. These micronutrients are iron, zinc, vitamin A, calcium, folate, and vitamin B12. They all play specific roles in the body, and deficiencies in each can provoke many symptoms and even result in severe diseases. For this reason, it is important to prioritize these nutrient dense foods into our lives to ensure adequate physical, mental, and emotional health. Excellent breakdown of what the most highly nutritious foods are. Tip- if you don't like organ meats (I do ) you can hide them in mincemeat, shepherd's pie, spicy fajitas, chilli con carne and in other savoury meals.

You can just live on skeletal muscle meat (beef and lamb). It's not necessary to eat organ meats every day. You won't be nutrient deficient if you have them once in a while.
