I bought 12 tins of those Icelandic Cod livers from Amazon on the basis that they can't be too nasty and even if they were I could hold my nose and treat them as medicine. But I was so pleased when I tried a tin on some of your toasted Keto bread. They are lovely. Not fishy (not that there's anything wrong with fishy) and not strong in any way. I would say they have a very enjoyable. delicate taste and so does of course the oil that they come in which is great on the bread. I don'y think anyone could dislike them because there's simply nothing to dislike. When these eleven are gone, I will buy another 12 without a second thought. So thanks for introducing me to something new, apparantly very healthy and really very enjoyable. Every day is a school day.

Started fasting in 2018 pre my little boy being born and after 2019.. it definately became harder. I say harder, but life and its daily requirements meant I did not put myself first and keep control of my weight. I went from 76kg (not heavy I know) to 92kg.... as of yesterday I am down to 85kg :). This is done over 4 weeks only. I have only worked out 4 times in that time. 4 x 45 minute sessions. The age old saying, the body you want starts in the kitchen. For me its not about the body, its about the feeling I get when i feel healthy. Super chuffed I have restarted this process! Dr Berg, I shall put you forward for an MBE :). Drink: mostly water, 1 black coffee. 1 or 2 sugarless black teas a week. Nuts are pistachio, walnut, almond, and sometimes cashews. Not as boring as it sounds, and I feel way better (lighter and energetic).

Great info. I believe both plant food and animal foods are both important. Some cant eat plants and some cant eat meat. Enjoyed the breakdown so people of whatever way of eating can use what applies to them. Thanks Dr. Berg.
@theresam5672 жыл бұрын
Yeah, plant food was never my favorite. I'm a animal lover, would've loved to go vegan, but never could. Besides, plants feel too, so if I think about it I get torn about eating them too. I always thought I might be part American Indian because I always thanked the plants, animals, trees, for giving me their fruits or their lives. Though, I can't see the animal alive prior or with identifying parts. Like I can't eat cut up chicken after seeing my chickens outside, & could never kill my own animals. The thought of naming a family member, treating it like family, loving it, then killing it makes me sick. I don't know how ppl equate treating animals humanely, & as a family member, then killing it. Whatever, I can't.

If it is I take my shirt off and walk letting the sun hit my body for about 10 to 15 minutes then I go back inside. You want to expose as much skin to the sun as legally possible. lol I live in Florida so many people don't have the luxury to do this in the winter, but do your best. Youll find that a lot of days you can't do this because its raining, overcast, cloudy, etc. But guys the vitamin D you get from the sun is priceless. Not all credit goes to the organ meats but I believe they helped. Now that I’m pregnant I’ve been told to watch taking that supplement because I could be getting too much Vitamin A. What’s your opinion on this?

Hello Doctor. When you mentioned Vitamin C I noticed you mentioned a good source is from vegetables because of the high fibre content. You've mentioned certain fruits in other videos because of the high fibre content along with the need for citrus; Lemons, Oranges Avocadoes. What of Banana when they are green for a source of Potassium? I've downloaded your cheat sheets which are really handy as the place to start with a Keto Diet. Otherwise there are a lot of video's to go through and it can get confusing or seem contradicting. Just to add. I like drinking Cider vinegar or somthing sour like Lemons or an un-ripe orange as it curbs the urge for sweet things; biscuits cakes and so on. Thank you Doctor.
