@@thenextlayer It was originally designed in Onshape, way before they got greedy and basically nuked all privacy options for personal/free accounts. In my opinion, they broke promises they had made, and so I abandoned them completely. The design process was basically a lot of trial and error, but it started with the idea of a central lift that should distribute marbles/balls into three different tracks. The plan was also that if there was just one marble loaded in the machine, that one marble would do each track in sequence, and then repeat. However, due to a mistake that I didn't discover until it was too late, that doesn't work. Two of the tracks are connected in series, so you can load one marble in one of those, and it will alternate between them. The track with the drop unfortunately loops back onto itself, and so isn't part of the sequence. While this isn't really a big deal (usually multiple marbles will be in use anyways), this mistake still bugs me a little, and I have considered making a new one where this actually does work as I had originally planned. However, it is quite a bit of work, so I never really got around to it. I did create another marble run with a pretty unique kind of lift, but it was a bit too complicated, so I didn't (and don't) want to release it. I did make a video of it, though: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6nUmH56qtdljNk

I personally enjoy a good mix of videos. While I enjoy seeing the big projects, I know I'll never have time to dedicate to them myself. These small prints however I can get done and maybe keep my kids occupied for 5 minutes. Always enjoy seeing the videos of new products or reviews as well.

A few weeks ago I printed the orange model in a long night shift. In ASA. Unfortunately I forgot to spray glue on the building plate... The next morning I found some chaos that had arisen in the last few centimeters - due to warping. But it probably can be repaired. I hope so! And yes - it is fascinating for children between 7 and 70 😄. Greetings to 🇮🇱 👍

Go for the honeycomb storage wall marble run tracks!!! I think about tracks like these bathtub marble runs with the suction cup mounts. But dont use the original HSW Connector, i would recommend simple hexagons for easy removal. You know, we all want to rearrange the tracks so often, improve them and surpass ourselves.

I don't mind the extra time for the smaller layers since the thing I do print come out great. Any known issues with the smaller layer heights? Thanks for all you do. Awesome as always

One thing about PCBway, you have to pay attention to the shipping charges. I was going to order a PCB for a project I'm considering building. The original designer of the project posted his PCB on PCBway as a project, which allows you to order a single board instead of the minimum quantity (5 possibly??) you have to order for a new design. The single board, $5 US, fair enough IMO. The shipping for that single board? A whopping $20.26 US. Guess I'll be using a small breadboard or a piece of prototype board. Probably prototype board, I can use the soldering practice, lol.

@@thenextlayer True, but so isn't a lot of the stuff ordered on Amazon that ships for free. Yes, some of it is coming from local distribution warehouses, but they also come direct from China too, the only difference being a couple extra days in transit. Even if the Chinese product you ordered comes from a local distribution site it still has to get there from China somehow, and that costs money. The other side of the world is a moot point in a "global economy". My Sovol SV08, it's enclosure, and the HDMI screen were all made in China, they all shipped separately, and I did not pay for shipping. If they shipped with someone besides DSL I might consider it, but I've ordered a lot of stuff on line, and I've been fortunate enough to only have a few orders lost in shipping. Unfortunately, they were all in DSL's hands when they disappeared. If they were all small packages that would be one thing, but DSL managed to lose a 30" x 30" x 48" wooden crate containing a 7 x 14 mini lathe. If they can loose something that big what chance does a small padded envelope have? lol.

@@Zac_Cole So is most of the stuff on Amazon, and they manage to ship for free. Even if the Chinese product on Amazon ships to you from a local distribution site it still has to get there from China. If it was another $5 to ship I wouldn't have given it second thought, but I refuse to pay 4 times the purchase price in shipping, particularly if all they're going to do is stuff it in a padded envelope.

Sorry to disagree with you entirely here, but the last time I had difficulty with stringing that no amount of retraction tuning would touch, the solution was to INCREASE the print temperature, not decrease it. Considering the level of stringing I see regularly with your print results that you show, you might want to universally increase your print temps by anywhere from 5 to 10 C. I know you're always, "But teh wet filament!" I literally live in a rain forest area, and have never experienced any of my filaments, PLA, PLA+, or PETG, exhibit the symptoms you attribute to it.
