You guys are forgetting that Aria and Sansa did not like each other growing up and the last time they seen each other in Kings Landing, Aria was pissed at Sansa for siding with Joffrey. When Sansa asked Aria "who else is on your list" I'm thinking Sansa was wondering if she was on Aria's list of people she wanted to kill. When Sansa sees that Aria is a really good fighter she begins to worry a bit that she does not know her anymore and maybe she should be concerned... at least that's what the writers are wanting us to think

The l00t train episode, my favorite out of the last couple of seasons. Now we finally get to se the Dothraki in a fight and see why they are so feared. And finally we see what a dragon can do to an army, imagine what three could do. The Dothraki don't take prisoners, except slaves which Dany has outlawed, so they will kill their prisoners for the most part. If you're on the Lannister side, you might as well keep fighting until you're dead. Jamie is wearing full plate armor, he's going to sink. That weighs easily 80-100 pounds or more.

At this point, it became very evident that the showrunners were more interested in getting cool shots than keeping true to the storyline or even to what made the show famous in the first place. They made their reputation with their willingness to kill off a character no matter how prominent they were in the story. In this episode, we see plot armor in full effect. Bronn flees a savage Dothraki warrior and jumps out of the way of dragon fire without even getting singed. And then mere minutes later Bronn miraculously jumps out from nowhere to pull Jaime out of the way of dragon fire from a dragon mere feet away and both dive into a puddle that deepens into a lake.

@@bravassSubs It was obvious to me what a disaster it was going to be in ep1 of this season. In the s6 finale, they set up several potential storylines that they suddenly decided to abandon. The biggest indicator was Jaime - we went through 6 seasons being told he was a hero for saving Kings Landing from being burned by Aerys. He comes back home in the s6 finale to find out Cersei carried out Aerys' plan. Go back and look at his face during her coronation. Then in s7 ep1, he's her general and it was all no big deal.

Whereas Rob Stark was the flip side of that. Lots of subtle ironic parallels on this story. When watching this episode live it gave me quite a bit of hope. What set GoT apart from other shows was that *ANYTHING* could happen, including the main character getting his head chopped off. No character had plot armor, at any moment a king could get poisoned or your favorite characters could get slaughtered at a wedding... And then it just so happens that Bronn and Jamie can just jump off a horse and completely dodge a fireball and fall into a physics-defying lake (is it deep or is it shallow?) and everything is alright. It was with this episode that the teeth of the writers were gone...Jamie and Bronn had their plot armor completely save them and now *ANYTHING* couldn't happen in the show anymore. The pacing is lightning speed (the entire Dothraki army and dragons just skip on out of there within the 20 seconds it takes for Bronn and Jamie to emerge from the lake) and now we are firmly entrenched in the worst writing of the show.
