If he worked alone. 🤷🏻♀️ Stu, on other hand, is guy You hear stories about, how funny, how wholesome and how known around he is. Also, how unharmful big lapdog he is. And Billy himself said : *There is a lot scarier, when there is no motive, Sid.* 😊 Both were playing their roles AMAZINGLY. But Billy, while great at intimidation, makes ones of easiest bullet in SCREAMverse to dodge. Exactly BECAUSE he behaves, like he behaves. While joking about Stu, Randy(nor anyone) never, till Tatum's death think, Stu is killer. And only because in cutted scene he himself send him after Tate. Whatever scenario of her death one want to think finally, that was only reason, why he knew. 🤷🏻♀️ Billy is scary in this very NORMAL "I will kill You" way. Think about Stu's personality and how it would be VERY thrilling for a killer reveal scene. We would see some crazy personality characteristics following what would otherwise be hidden behind the Ghostface costume throughout the movie until the reveal scene. Just imagine him pulling off the mask and having some deeply satisfying reason for his decades-later appearance.
@jessebaker27699 ай бұрын
On the other hand, I'd rather they just be upfront with Stu coming back if they did so. Revamping Scream to a villain protagonist direction could revitalize the film series in a lot of ways as far as switching to a POV of Stu as Ghostface killing people.
@rudy81469 ай бұрын
@@jessebaker2769 , I think you bring up very interesting points. However, I'm not sure how we'd make a whole movie out of Stu trying to hunt Sidney down. There would be no need for the costume at that point. He would just try to kill her and be done with it. No need to hide his identity. Every Scream movie has the traditional killer reveal scene, which would make sense because nobody knows who he/she/they are the entire movie. So, that would eliminate those iconic scenes. Part of the thrill is not knowing who the killer is. I think if they made a movie about him planning to kill Sidney and then trying to do it, it would be a flop. Not interesting at all. Sidney would 10000% know about this if it were the case and it would’ve been mentioned by now. If they’d done it in Scream 3 it would’ve been fine, but now it’s far too late.

In my head he’s alive and that’s cannon. He’s been working in the shadows, cult of Stu started with Scream 5 at very least. Or quite possibly earlier. There is no way to this day that little girl killed Dewey, stabbed him in the back lifted him in the air via pure strength and gutted him before he said “it’s an honor”. That Ghostface was much taller than Dewey, almost 6 ft something, It felt like unfinished business, Stu stabbed Dewey in the back in Scream. Finally got to finish what he started. I get it for those that say Ghostface size doesn’t matter blah blah it does when it’s that differential and the mysterious of the 2nd killer location is present, Ritchie was at the hospital as well, almost got stabbed in the process, that Ghostface even said I will show you what happens when you interfere in business that doesn’t concern you. As if Ritchie was stepping out of line from the script he and the bitch was given. Furthermore in the original Scream that method was how Stu described how he’d kill someone. I think Stu grooms one of the two killers and gets that one to fool a 2nd, only 1 of them knowing a piece of the puzzle at a time. Amber (I think was her name, knew about Stu). Part of me wants to say - So did Billy’s mom, Roman and the girl Emma roberts played. Everyone else was the 2nd fool who got manipulated or tricked to be an accomplice

@The Shocker 🙄 If you lose more than 40 percent of your blood, you will die. This is about 2,000 mL or 0.53 gallons of blood in the average adult. Stu didn’t even have enough blood on his shirt to even entertain the idea he was bleeding out FOR REAL (in real life) which means he wouldn’t die from blood loss much less on screen. It would have to be soaked. I’ve seen that much soaked on a shirt in some films and in a video. By the way, I know if someone is stabbed or seriously bleeding they may also feel anxious, dizzy, they’re a bit confused and their brain suffers from the lack of oxygenated blood too. I get dude was rambling and his dizziness showed in the way he delivered “I’m feeling a little woozy here.” but it’s inconsistency in his “death” either way ya know? The electrification wouldn’t happen but that’s theatrics. I brought up some facts about CRT’s that the original writer here refused to mention in comments on this video as well so has others in other videos of people talking about Stu. Shoot, some bring up their own experiences. It’s just nothing to dispute over. Stu could come back but it’s such a taboo death that many think is impossible to conquer. The only way I would've been onboard with this outcome was if they made it abundantly clear in Scream 2 that Stu survived. Even if he didn't appear in the second movie that'd be fine, but it definitely would've needed at least a few lines of dialogue, possibly between Sidney and Randy, where they mention Stu being alive/in prison. Or even just show it on a news clip like when the news reporter at the start talks about the Stab premiere murders, they could casually mention the killers who Stab was based on and that Stu made a statement from prison that he was excited to see the movie, idk. But if they only mention he survived for the first time in Scream 3 would've felt like a stupid retcon that tarnished the storyline for Scream2. If they executed this properly though I wouldn't have been mad about it

Yes it's EXTREMELY realistic that you can survive that because IT HAPPEND TO ME IN REAL LIFE. I was playing with my brother and I was like 14 and we had that same type of tv. We were fighting on the floor and slammed into the cabinet that had the tv on it. I was on my back and put my hands up and all it did was sprain my wrist and break the glass. The glass broke into two big pieces but never came out of the tv. It wasn't plugged in because we were going to put it upstairs but then it broke. I've also been shot by a 357 twice (two times at the same time) and survived that--- so YES, STU COULD HAVE EASILY SURVIVED. The human body can take unbelievable damage

The average person (about 72 inches tall and 180lbs) can withstand up to 11,000 watts. That tv appeared to be a 32"-36" box tv. They had a peak wattage of about 200 watts...the 30" tvs weighed at most 65 lbs...but keep in mind that the screen broke and his face mostly went inside of the mostly hallow box. The main weight landed on his collar bone and shoulders. Could he have died, yes, most likely in fact....is there a chance he didn't, also, yes...I have seen far more fatal things happen to people in this same franchise and they survived...Dewey got stabbed at the end of 1, 2, 3, 4 and finally died in 5...it was an on going gag and we were all fine with him coming out alive even though his supposed death got worse every time...gale had her guts reorganized twice, even Sydney got her own brutality in 4...I think with a little movie magic explained by medical science, it is possible for stu to survive... I have a theory how this would all work...but I'm saving it now for a pitch...with the other writers kind of backing away (apparently) with Jenna ortega...maybe they will be in the market for a new perspective ;) get at me Hollywood, I've got you.

I really hate the idea of Stu surviving. Not only I don't see him plotting anything like other killers did, but the reason we needed Scream 4 is to make Ghostface return to its original concept. Ghostface doesn't work if he has a definitive true identity, like Scream 3 suggested. So, there can't be a "truer" Ghostface than others. Also, the idea of asking who is Ghostface this time, what are their motivations and how it connects to the themes of the franchise, gets lost if we already know the person behind the mask and their motivations from the start.

@manoftomorrow792 жыл бұрын
Kevin Williamson's idea made no sense in how he would revive Stu for his version of Scream 3 despite whatever bullshit scenario he tried to pull off. You have to take the third act into account when addressing Scream 3 after Billy went nuts stabbing Stu he begged Billy to stop because he was feeling weak. Then after Sidney called them he responded to Billy "I can't Billy you cut me too deep I think i'm dying here man!" Then finally when Stu confronted Sidney he's already had plenty of blood loss occur so when Sidney drops the tv on his head not only would the weight of the tv cave in his head. But glass shards would go into his face, neck, and eyes causing more blood loss if not fatally wounding him, and finally, the electrocution by the time police and EMTs would arrive Stu would be dead. Even Wes Craven in the original audio commentary for the film with Kevin Williamson said that Stu died in the film so there's no way Kevin could excuse all those facts to bring Stu back.
@Mrjedi57873 күн бұрын
Literally like I would have said okay. Maybe there's a chance he's alive if he only got stabbed multiple times because people in The scream franchise literally survive that most of the time but anyways yeah there's no chance he's alive because he literally got stabbed like four times and to add insult to injury. He got a TV pushed on his head and got full-on electrocuted

I think it would be cool if the series ended with Stu being behind all the killings in 4 5 and 6. The first 3 movies were personal. i cant fully remember scream 4 since its been a while since i watched but it seemed like the alst 2 movies the killers were more concerned with fame or proving a point even tho they had no real connection to sydney or anything as far as why the original movie killings happened that were set up by Roman. Id like to think Stu was in prison to begin with but was moved to a psych ward where he had more freedom to move around the place. He could have easily used chatrooms/social media to recruit people that had easy access to Sydney and the town. Like when terrorist groups target depressed loner type kids online to work for them. He finds these people and learns things about them and then contacts them. Like all he had to do was stalk Billys daughter online to find out info in order to get that one dude to get involved and he connected him to that girl killer based on her internet activity. I think Stu being the killer for the last movie could involve one of the killers in Scream 6 be someone who works at the prison or looney bin who breaks Stu out. That killer dies in the end and have the cliffhanger going into Scream 7 be Stu taking the mask from the crime scene. Of course dont show its Stu until the 7th movies reveal.
