I'd love that, i'd love to help create maps. I am no good at making my own objects or create textures, but give me available, finished objects and a map editor? Loke the Skyrim or fallout Creation Kit? I'll make insane maps, easy. I can build a city if needed. It'll take time, but I'd do it. God... Imagine a bunch of people buying a copy of the Frostbite Engine, add destruction physics - reasonably - make a proper Battlefront 3, then pitch the game to EA, the discord server and team on it are hired - for a tiny salary, which is fine, we need the SALES income more - then we just finish it within a year cuz we've done a lot before even telling EA. THAT would be perfect. Of course we'd have to stick within the Disney Canon, but even RIGHT NOW this can be done. It's just... rather risky. But, if EA and Disney gave a team like this the go-ahead, with at least the main assets being already done? That would be a massive success, it would sell millions of copies within a week, hundreds of millions in a month.

honestly, for me, Mustafar and Ahsoka not being added is worse, not because i would have preferred Mustafar to Coruscant, but because Padme and even Coruscant can just be added with mods. ROTS Mustafar is one of the more difficult maps to make with mods, and there aren't many people modding the game anymore either.

The next Battlefront should have some basic combat archetypes (Attacker, Tank, Support, Scout) that have interchangeable skins with several unique voice lines. Certain character and trooper skin packs should be locked behind a reasonable price (like $5, $10, $15) so the game can get some form of monetary income post-release sales. The abilities for each of the hero classes should have 2 or more advanced skills that can be unlocked via a (simple) progression system. Some abilities are better than others but the base skills should never be overshadowed by endgame unlocks. Every ability should be niche for the combat style the player is going for. Star Cards could have load outs for whether a player wants to go for ranged or close range combat. And I can't leave out the fact that the next Battlefront game NEEDS Legends/old EU content in it. Not having Old Republic, Post-Endor, and even Clone Wars content from the EU in any new games is absolutely criminal towards fans. I get that they're focusing on their precious Canon timeline but we know damn well that a good amount of fans still prefer Legends over it any day. Almost all the new content they create have origins from material in Legends; they just copy, redesign, and water down the lore. And it's extremely irritating to watch this... Sorry about that. I went on a salt-fueled rant there. So what do you think about my Hero/Villain Class Concept in my first paragraph?

@@blackshogun272 Would only happen if the game wasn't in the Frostbite Engine. Something more like Unreal and with a less photo-realistic graphics art style, to make development faster and easier. Even though EA could have given more developers to BF2, it's still limited by having to make such hyper-realistic models and textures, a less stressing art style would make developing content far easier and quicker. Can't be done in Frostbite though, BF3 needs to come from a studio that isn't linked to DICE, Respawn Entertainment would make a fantastic BF3.

What Dice should of added before ending support for BF2: 1. Things said in the video (e.g. Ahsoka, Ventress and Coruscant) - If they were already developing it why waste these assets and abandon them, they would have used lot of time and money ; It would be better to finish something then throwing it away as it just goes to waste. 2. Scarif - This map was definitely incomplete as they didn't include the heroes for the map (Which was kinda the aspect that brought this map to life) or add it as a galactic assault map either. This proves how lazy they were as all they had to do was import the old files and update them. At the least they could have put it as a galactic assault map which would of made the galactic assault playlist a bit more better due to it getting boring so easily. 3. More galactic assault maps - I think DICE kinda abandoned the best mode in the game for capital supremacy. If galactic assault got some of the maps from heroes vs villains (e.g. Bespin, The capital ships, Scarif, Ajan Kloss) and the maps also from their first installment then this mode would have been perfect. I don't understand why bespin wasn't a galactic assault map as it was the best map in the first game, or why the origional death star wasn't in the game either, if they were added then the game would have been so much better than it is today. 4. SKINS - There was definitely a lack of skins for some characters that were highly requested for certian characters (e.g. Darth Vader, Palpatine, Maul). Maul eventually got a skin however it was such a bad one because it was literally a combination between his Solo appearance and his Rebels appearance. Palpatine also to one but the skin was literally a black cloack with red lines to portray the ROS appearance. However they could of added Palpatine's prequal appearance. Maul should of got skins like his Rebels, Solo and Clone Wars appearance as they were all relatively different. Darth Vader could of got a battle damaged skin as we have seen him get damaged many times in the shows (also in Ep 4,5 and 6 his suit a a little bit different so they could have amde them skins too). The OT characters could of got older versions of themselves like Old Luke, Leia, Han and Kenobi. Clone Wars characters could have also got younger appearances like Anakin from Ep 2 and Obi wan from Ep 1 and 2. Skins were a major opportunity they could have persued but they decided to waste it and not give any skins that people would have liked. To add onto this, Grievous uses only 2 arms in the game (Even though he has 4 in the movies/shows) however some special moves allow him to use 4 and tbh 2 arms don't look too bad on grievous (even though I would have preferred 4) but the point is why did they not add a caped grievous. It would literally be his defaultt appearance but with a cape, how hard can that be and it would make him look more menacing. 5. What the community requested - Players have asked for ahsoka since the release however she was never added. Players also asked for private servers and star card setups to make gameplay easier however these were also not added. Instead they added BB-8 and BB-9E, heroes that nobody asked for and cared about :/ I do admit that those heroes are actually really fun to play with but they should have defo listened to the community and added things that were requested. 6. Heroes - This sounds a bit to much but they could of added a variety of heroes like Cad Bane, Commander Cody, Rex, Mace Windu, Jango Fett, Qui gon jinn, Mandolorian and more. This wasnt hugely requred as they do take time to develop these charcaters which i can understand but if the game released as it is now then these heroes would be in the game already. So EA is to blame for this as they rushed the game and if they released the game with heroes like Anakin, Kenobi and Grievous then for these 4 years we could have been given more heroes that people have desperately wanted. If these things were added this would have definitely been the best star wars game to date but sadly they weren't and instead this game with such a huge potential was abandoned. The things in the game now (apart from the ongoing bugs) should have been in the game from release. Anakin (the main character in all of star wars) wasn't added until nearly 2 years after the release of the game and somehow he still managed to be broken. This can suggest how lazy the company is and to make it worse if they didn't ditch it then they would have made so much money so it makes no sense as we all know EA is a really greedy company. We can see their failure installment in Battlefield 2042 and all we can do is hope that another company is willing to continue this franchise.

My idea for that update would be: Heroes: Ahsoka and Ventress. Ahsoka’s default skin is her Siege of Mandalore armor with blue lightsabers, unlockable is her Padawan outfit from S3-5 with green sabers. Ventress’ default is her usual appearance, unlockable is her Nightsister robes. Reinforcements: Mandalorian Commando Aerial to give the other factions their versions of the First Order Jet Trooper. CIS would be Maul’s red Commandos while Bo-Katan’s blue Commandos would be for Republic, Rebellion and Resistance. New maps: Utapau for Supremacy, Coruscant for Starfighter Assault, Mustafar and Mandalore for Heroes and Villains. New skins: 332nd skin for Clone Troopers, Rex and Jesse skins for ARC Troopers, S7 appearance for Maul, hooded appearance for Anakin, cape for Grievous, Chancellor appearance for Palpatine, Death Watch disguise for Obi-Wan. The issue with a different studio/publisher making the next Battlefront game is they won't have access to the Frostbite engine, so they'll basically be starting from scratch and have to remake everything

"It was hard to tell a believable 'what if scenario' of the Rebels and the Empire fighting on that planet." This is the fundamental problem with EA and Dice's approach. Pandemic's approach to Battlefront 2 was that of a Sandbox, that's what made it so memorable, that's why people still play it to this day, sure it doesn't have anywhere near the same numbers on Steamcharts, but people still play it. like Empire at War it didn't matter if you could logically justify it or not, if it was a location that showed up in the films or animated shows for more than a few seconds, it was in the game. Granted there are so many locations now that were added in shows like Clone Wars and Rebels, that adding all that would be absurd, but bare minimum would be every planet that showed up in the films from episode 1 through 6 and with available for both the Clone Wars and the GCW (yes that Includes Kamino in the GCW, I don't care what Bad Batch says). Honestly, aside from the actor likenesses, I think the graphics for EA's battlefronts are fine as is, just make larger maps and put in all the features the Pandemic version had, along with space to ground and multiplayer galactic conquest.

Apart from the missing extra content, the main thing the Next battlefront should have is sky to ground dropoff with dropships u can fly urself (like u start in a venator, can join the skybattle or drop of with a squad at the ground) One Day my dream will come through :)

I can imagine that potentially in the future that a prototype build of BF2 with Ahsoka, Ventress and Mustafar will get leaked online and somebody will be able to make mods to be able to include those characters. If that ever happened then theres a possibility people could host custom servers with the Kyber Server Browser and you could actually use them against other people online

One good thing about SWBF2 right now is, as long as you don't use 'quick match' and pick which room you want to be in, the matches are full, even the 40 person ones.I just got out of a 40 person room and it was intense. I also tried a heroes vs villains and it was full and easy to get into although I saw level 641 - 746 players, and I guess they were cheaters.

Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds so depressing. Our best option now is Lucasfilm reinstating the Battlefront franchise under a brand new studio bringing back Dennis. There is categorically no way BF3 won't happen, because it's literally sitting on a goldmine and capable of reaching $1 billion dollars

The next Battlefront should have some basic combat archetypes (Attacker, Tank, Support, Scout) that have interchangeable skins with several unique voice lines. Certain character and trooper skin packs should be locked behind a reasonable price (like $5, $10, $15) so the game can get some form of monetary income post-release sales. The abilities for each of the hero classes should have 2 or more advanced skills that can be unlocked via a (simple) progression system. Some abilities are better than others but the base skills should never be overshadowed by endgame unlocks. Every ability should be niche for the combat style the player is going for. Star Cards could have load outs for whether a player wants to go for ranged or close range combat. And I can't leave out the fact that the next Battlefront game NEEDS Legends/old EU content in it. Not having Old Republic, Post-Endor, and even Clone Wars content from the EU in any new games is absolutely criminal towards fans. I get that they're focusing on their precious Canon timeline but we know damn well that a good amount of fans still prefer Legends over it any day. Almost all the new content they create have origins from material in Legends; they just copy, redesign, and water down the lore. And it's extremely irritating to watch this... Sorry about that. I went on a salt-fueled rant there. So what do you think about my Hero/Villain Class Concept in my first paragraph?

Perhaps it could be Free Radical that get the job for Battlefront 3. They already have 99% of the files from the original Battlefront 3. All they got to do is modernize it and they could sell it no earlier than 2024.

See you say no studio under EA but I would love to see Respawn take on Battlefront. As the original Studio behind CoD4 and Titanfall, they are by far my favourite studio as far as FPS games go. And with Fallen Order showing they know how to make some good Saber combat too? Respawn feels like the only studio that could truly make a successor to Battlefront 2 both the 2005 version and our current version which is still very good.

Mustafar, ventress, and ahsoka hurts, but honestly I feel like we didn't need dagobah. Dagobah would be too similar to endor in terms of forest, we don't actually see that much of dagobah to make a map for it including control points, no large scale battles happen there as it's a peaceful planet. Those comments about BF 2015, were those the initial content plans and they were changed as the developement progressed? Did I get that right? Plus, when Dennis joined BF 2017, the content seemed to have been layed out already, because Obi-Wan was not planned for launch. Maybe I missunderstood his position, but he was the design director. Was he not involved in conceptualizing the post launch content before the respective launches of both titles at all? P.S. All of this is heartbreaking. The planned out BF 2017 content, as wel as the early ideas for the Season Pass of BF 2015. I certainly still adored all the content, we still got with the Season Pass of 2015. Looking back now, the DLCs of the Season Pass were arguably the best BF content of both games - at least for me, but it is still interesting, how different (and arguably better) the initial plans for the Season Pass were.

If Star Wars Battle Front 2 had a lot of Mods support and install and download for free and create and Costumize and switch out male and female troopers skin's and changing colors to battle outfit uniforms and use battle points to unlock more vehicle's and Troopers and new mod of heroes and villains to add extra to Roster.

I would have loved to see more of Star Wars heroes and Villians characters. There is so much to implement and grind for if they just put them in. Qui gon, Jango fett (Alrhough I think that should just be skin for Boba) Mace Windu, Starkiller, Darth Desolous,and more. But damn it won’t come true.
