I mean, that's the very heart and nature of boycotts such as the bus boycotts in the '60's. Obviously, this is not nearly as important, to say the least haha. Yeah, but to be fair to ESPN, things need to evolve. That format wouldn't still work in today's world. Back then, the only way to see so many highlights on a national level was on ESPN. Now you can find highlights of any game on several different platforms. If someone already saw the highlights on youtube why would they need to watch ESPN if they still had that same format?

As I’ve gotten older, I care less and less about sports, but GOD damnit do I love seeing a group who’s sticking to their guns, and not letting the FCC and corporation money dictate who they are. This is a great lesson in what happens when you don’t become a door matt, stay true to your brand, but also recognize that there’s enough food out there for everybody to eat.
