I've got to say, the production values of these videos in the last few weeks has gone up through the roof. Fabulous inset shots, very high quality angles, great music, tight editing. . .this looks like a very high-grade TV program now. And the bits of humor are absolutely A+. Keep it up, Billy. Hope your mum and dad are well--it's always fun to see your dad working. I can see where you get the work ethic!

Trick to cleaning a mixer is at the end of the day, throw in a bucket water and 2 bricks leave for 5 minutes, then you have a super clean mixer.

I think you should have fitted a rain gully across the door and have it going into one of this holes also I would have blocked those of if they are from the gutters in heavy rain they will flood under the cobbles

The pipe with 2 holes took water from a kitchen sink and a floor drain. Don't think they are part of the gutter drainage system.

Yes, now in days janitors are called custodians because they do more than just clean. They repair and oversee the building. I as a woman worked with many of men as custodians and learn the trade and it sure does keep your fit. You go home really tired.

Hey Billy, You have prepared a door opening below grade This is a big mistake it will always be a problem with flooding and a catch all space outside the door. cut your losses now and go back to a window opening. Solve the problem now before you spend any money or time on a door.

I think you should have kept that drain idea of yours and replace the lower stones closest to the step up with an iron grate drain. Since you've effectively removed the gutter right there, your kitchen is going to flood through that door even though you've put in a small "up" ramp with the mortar... it's not high enough.

Spirits of salts is great to get into any grooves. It loosens and lifts any cement that the brush can not get at.

Floor looks great and new entrance is attractive. Thought you were going to pipe in a proper drain as you already had the original drain pipe in place and a couple of round iron grates to go with. Just concerned that water will run right over the step and into the kitchen, yikes! Johanna Maine USA

I’m the same ! The curtain music an nearly all channels is just too loud. I’m forever having to hit the up/down volume controls so I can hear dialogue but not be overpowered by the music. Sometimes it’s music selection. But not on this channel. Music choice is always spot on but I do prefer the classical choices.

I don’t think you’ll regret going back to the original architectural lines for the façade by replacing the small window with a door. It’s going to look amazing, as well as an added fire escape, as you said. Those industrial floor washers are beasts but definitely a terrific solution for the floor. Phil’s a good friend, taking over the floor cleaning. :)

It is going to be so handy having a door there and putting a small triangle wedge for carts when needed will be a breeze. Make one out of oak that can hang on the wall beside the door or hang it on the door. Awesome video. Gwen is keeping all the boy's out of trouble by keeping them busy. Yeah Gwen! She is so awesome! A door is a good idea. Maybe it could be both a door and a window. One of those doors that split halfway up so you can only open the top half sometimes just like a window. You could also name this opening into the kitchen as "Billy's Window"

To clean that stonework the rest of the way ,use muriatic acid, then seal it with silicone sealer. That'll keep the stone having "that wet look" and help keep the dust down!
