The actor David Janssen commissioned Edward Giddings to build this back in the mid 70's. It's sad that Janssen died so young - at 48, a couple of years before it was finished. A beautiful home.

Im late to this vid. It would be interesting to know what the property sold for, and when. That stated, here is what is right with this presentation largely for the brokers involved: Excellent demonstration of location,very well staged, good music match. A suggestion would be to have some feature shots at dusk and night to further promote same. Here is what doesnt work: You leave the viewer no concept of the flow of the floor plan. This would be fundamental with a 7500 sqft living space. The speed in which you move through this house and ground is primary to the success of the vid. SLOW DOWN gentlemen. You dont want to have your viewer nauseous with your marketing effort. Good luck in all you do.

Love the home and prosperity. Is there a lot of snakes in the area especially rattlesnakes. I would think they would be in the rocks around the home.

That view is unbeatable and the biggest draw for this estate. The builder took every advantage of that by incorporating stunning views from so many of the rooms. I'm sure at night it becomes a black carpet shining with a field of diamonds. The great room would benefit from more windows and/or glass walls as there is a darkness to the room that's less than inviting. In harmony with the local landscape there is a distinct lack of color to the house. Because of the lack of contrast one's eyes are naturally drawn to the next best thing texture. It is then that you realize there are rocks everywhere, literally. After that realization suddenly that's all you see are rocks. Throw a rock bed and a rock couch in that house and Fred and Wilma Flintstone would have felt at home. The rock application could have benefitted from the saying less is more. Although in this case there needed to be a lot less and please no more..

Hello to the group I live in California all my life okay I won't live and no chaser I can't I have to leave near the water there has to be a stream a real natural stream of flowing water and I can't live in the mountains where they have no water and they burn you to death in California as a child have lived through all those are earthquakes I moved away many years ago you get it I will not pay that high tax there I was born there in California I seen everything under the sun you could ever see so please stop showing me anything that's in California if it's not near the water it's trash get it and has to be quiet there has to be no one next to each other house behind me house up on the hill house next to me no way I wouldn't pay those outrageous prices unless I own land you get it there better be a horse there there better be some Buffalo are you got nothing get it I don't care how much money you got I won't live there 🙏🤝💌✨
