Perhaps if we had more educators who are actually interested in educating their students and not activists pushing their own personal social and political agendas, things might be in better shape. I fear things will only get worse given this is happening through our 'education' system.

International students are getting scammed. Anyone can get a degree. A NZ degree on a CV does not mean that candidate has met a high standard of literacy or numeracy.

I have a 15yr old daughter in the top 2% of her school now looking to go abroad for uni because of the dropping standards of nz universities. It’s not what she was hoping to do!

If measured properly there are probably a thousand universities in china alone that are about to surpass the quality of nzs universities and our students. I imagine that if we are being honest, most of them probably already have.
