Yuval Harari Nick Bostrom (he’s a Swedish philosopher based in Oxford University) Eliezer Yudovsky (maybe the most egregious of them all, raised millions of $ but hasn’t released a single product!)

I don't think AI will take "years" to spin out of human control. By the present standards it appears, a couple of years is more than enough. I mean, whatever level of consciousness AI does develop within the next year or so, it will surely go out of human control, for the lack of common conscience and adherence to human-like societal systems and processes, to discipline it.
