It is machia actually in kirishima flashback, he just not a giant like in this season. It was confirmed in last season when mina about to throw the sleeping drugs in machia mouth she remembered that the giant in front of her is the same one during her middle school. That why she froze and couldn’t throw the drug and kirishima manage to save her. That why mina said she paid him back cause she froze before, and that why kirishima reply with she always been his heroes since mina already stand her ground against machia (even tho it just small machia).

This IS the final arc, but NOT the final season. This arc is being split into two seasons with next season probably only being like 10-12 episodes. The manga just ended in Aug :)

I REALLY felt the final few chapters of the Manga were rushed: we needed a winding down and some more "full circles". I really hope b/c of the anime's success, they add some extra stories to give it more satisfying conclusion. haha won't say what I wish they DID add until after it's done though to avoid spoilers. THIS episode ended on something I REALLY hoped would come back later but didnt' T__T

@@HachimaruuTV They needed a "winding down" series of chapters; some tieing things together with a bit more High school life. I wouldv'e LOVED a rematch between Backugou and Uraraka, now that her Quirk's range as expanded so much: i'd want to she her use to take all Bakugou's "steering" away from his Quirk to defeat him painlessly... that scene hit so hard in the first tournament I hated that never got a follow up. ALSO if one person needed a Full circle it was Ojirou: I felt him holding his own in the class with such a plain power never got the story it deserved. And case in point of rushing things: when Deku (MAJOR SPOILERS) meets the junior high kid with the Quirk he thinks isn't hero-worth, Deku shouldv'e invited him to watch a hero class demo, where MINETA takes down Deku's entire class the was Mriro did to Class 1A; and repeats what Mirio said "My Quirks not strong, I MADE it strong" Show don't tell sort of thing...

@@elephantmarch uraraka def ain't gonna no sell Bakugo no matter how much stronger her quirk becomes lmao. Last point with Mineta is a fun idea but narratively Deku being the All might for a kid doesn't need that demonstration, by far it's one of the least rushed things mentioned

@@darknessknows1235 Well here me out: She can control the weight of things now from a distance: Bakguou's good at controlling his Quirk while flying but only because he's very carefully learned how much force-to-weight to measure. It'd reafirm how careful he was about letting her touch him last time: if she could turn his weight on and off constantly he'd go spinning out of control. That's a Bakuoug weakness I wish they'd have addressed more: how easily he can lose control over it. And regarding the Mienta thing: they were making a POINT of comparing the new kids Quirk to his, so that just feels a great visual full circle: also Mineta could show how he's matured since school. Don't get me wrong, there's way way MORE stuff i'd like to see them not rush: those are just two things I really felt needed conclusions.

Its such incredible writing, seeing Mr. Aizawa being beat down slowly and unable to use his quirk, to watching Shinso.. somebody you'd never think in the beginning to be as good as Eraser, to be taught by him then climb his way up after being taught and using his quirk in a way that is almost just as effective as erasure along with the bands and the voice changer, then himself as a hero after losing to Izuku, then helping him in the fight with black whip.. knowing when to be a hero and not just wanting to beat Izuku but instead save him. All stemming from somebody who was in class B and didn't believe in himself or his quirk to be useful. Underrated character development.

Yh sam is right it was machia in the kirishima flashback. Kirishima was scared too move but Mina wasn’t. Mina then got scared in season 6 and froze up then kiri saved her then now she saves kirishima. But to kirishima she saved him first

This episode, Shigaraki breaking free and Nagant coming back are all situations AFO thought he had full control over that ended up backfiring on him. He manipulated and left Nagant for dead. She blows off his hands. He manipulated Shigaraki for his plans. Shigaraki rebels. He intentionally left Machia behind to "teach Tomura the pain of loss". Machia throws a mountain at him. Machia is also one of the few able to handle multiple quirks without modification(OFA and AFO not included) and is now the only other person aside from Deku to resist brainwashing. He's got that dog in him. Literally. We also see how much of a crutch Shigaraki's hatred is for AFO. He needs his hatred to theoretically be able to steal OFA. And now that same hatred is actually making AFO's quirks stronger as he gets younger. AFO likes to say that Shigaraki is just the other him and that he's the one actually running things. But a huge chunk of AFO's plan and him being able to basically one shot everyone at Gunga is BECAUSE of Shigaraki's immense hate.
