Not even a year ago, I attended a church that promoted him and a few others that got brought up as social justice and woke. If it were not for platforms such as this it would of taken longer to figure some of it out and the books that get written taking a stand against it.

Thank you Jon. Even though we are seeing Bible prophecy coming true in our lives, it never ceases to amaze me that God chose us to see it. I remember when I was moving from Texas to N. Va. in 2010 friends at church recommended I go to MBC. I thank God I did not even visit and went to a church that taught the full counsel of our Lord. Platt is truly a son of the Devil with this CRT foolishness. It is also why I left Watermark in Dallas after the pastor departed from Biblical teaching and started teaching the CRT "doctrines of demons". All those in the faith I encourage you remain in the Word, do not be beguiled by false teachers and do not stray from the truth.

I was attending a Wednesday Evening Bible Study at a church in SW Florida. My concerns started when the Pastor introduced a video led series by David Platt. Since I left after that Platt study many other things have come to my attention that it leads me to believe that the leadership have a serious lack of discernment . I seem unable to find a church that is truly biblical.

unfortunately, yes, but he stepped down as lead pastor and hides out in his Radical room. We predict he will soon leave "for another opportunity"...pfft. The wolves in the SBC don't want their fair-haired boy to have any further damage. He turned his lead over to Mike "the torch" Kelsey. The church is a third of the size it was and can barely fill 2 services from the 4 that took place. Most are now attending Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg (excellent Pastor - Gary Hamrick) or Immanuel (Jesse Johnson) in Springfield. GOD Bless

And I used to be the kind of person who was always buying the newest Christian book and listening to sermons as often as possible. We don’t really need to “follow” anyone. We don’t need to always hear something new about our faith to be growing. A lot of these people and organizations have been subverted - that’s the bottom line. Whether they started out that way, or were bought or were threatened, we won’t know. But we don’t have to listen to them or especially send anyone our $. People in the previous times had only their Bibles, church and God to guide them. It’s more peaceful living this way.

Again the SBC is not a denomination by definition. It is a group of independent churches cooperating together. Leaning into the narrative that Platt was associating with a denomination is going to collapse the rest of the good evidence/arguments presented. It is true that the SBC looks and may even function as a denomination but the nuance of the SBC definition is going to be used against this.
