It's hard probably. Especially because most people that were being brainwashed since childhood might just unconsciously continue to live within their believes. This goes to any kind of brainwashing. Not everyone would care about logics and choose independent thinking. Especially if no one comes and warn you. The same goes to people in my country. And it can be very frustrating sometimes looking at people easily believe what were being taught by elders and leaders. Including teachers at school. I myself started to only question realities when a senior in my college told me that I need to start questioning my own history textbook. And from that moment on, I never believe things without questioning the legitimacy of the information first. But not everyone receives the warning. And not everyone would realize that their parents and teachers might not be right all the time.

My iraqi , arab & muslim late father told me about his Jewish neighbors and school mates that were there living in peace for mellenia. Then one fine day after 1947, jews were made to pickup and leave during a period when iraq was run by the british. It was a deep social shock. It was a disruption of history. From that day onwards nothing good happened in the region and went from bad to worse. I honestly believe it was a western collonial project and still is. I believe that all people of the ME must change this evil reality and a single state solution is the only cure. Two states will not solve the contentions.
