I like the examples of what to say to those who try to sabotage your healthy eating plan. They always try to throw darts into it to get you to eat unhealthfully like them. The exact words to say are helpful. Great interview-thanks!

Dr. Fuhrman started my health journey over 10 years ago when a friend gave me his book, Eat to Live. I’m so grateful to him and this particular lecture is exactly what I needed. I know what to do and am probably 90% doing it but struggle with the other 10%. Will relisten to this so it sinks in!

Thank you, Dr. Fuhrman, for your dedication to healthy living. As someone who eats a healthy, vegan, plant inclusive diet, I relate to what you're saying about how people who eat the standard American diet think we are oddballs. When my neighbor invited me to his backyard BBQ, I told him I would be happy to hang out with his family & friends but, as a courtesy to him, I wanted him to know that I don't eat meat or grilled food. He chuckled & said mockingly, "Oh, you're one of those people who eat healthy." He was making fun of me for having good eating habits!

I support you! I have to go to Thanksgiving dinner and bring my own food! I just try to bring a healthy dish that doesn't seem too weird to share.

@@kimclark399 I'm proud of you for staying true to yourself. I do the same thing on Thanksgiving. I've been doing this for about 48 years so my family is used to me.

This video is GOLD. Thank you Dr. Fuhrman for taking the time to share studies and articulate food addiction so well and for your focus on sugar and flour. I’ll be watching this again.

this is a great talk on how to eat better. and that it becomes a habit and we just know what to eat. like when we learn a hobby or a sport. it also explains why people are so angry and why there is so much cancer. thank you

Food addicts all over the world. Most hard thing to stop: food. Drugs are just the same thing but with faster selfdestroying results.

Attack The Capitol because of food? I thought the Dr. eating healthy will not join the hate towards Trump. Is it hate a result of non-excellent nutrition?
@gailsmith90642 ай бұрын
It comes down to living a beautiful healthy lifestyle and yes it does keep people calmer and offers more resilience when practiced well. So fair comparison. I don’t hate trump but as with most of the rest of the world we think he’s a bit of a narcissistic dick 😊

I was just thinking about Trump, then you mentioned the attack on the Capitol!
