Going to homedepot this weekend got the stamps in the mail the other day so can't wait.

They come in packs of nine. The Home Depots in my area let me open the packs and pick through to find the best ones - not all are suitable for stamping -- too many holes. They let me do this as long as I buy them in groups of nine.

I like the images you used to make these tile coasters. I also have used a full tree image which looked wonderful! I made mine several years ago for one of my husband's Christmas gifts and also used Stazon, however, I will tell you that since the tiles are so porous, the ink will eventually be absorbed down through the tile itself and creep through to the back. It won't be seen, but it does fuzz out the image on top a little, so if you want the ink to stay nice and bright, spray the tile with a fixative spray before applying the stamping. Just a heads-up! Keep the gift ideas coming! =0)

You can use a lighter color ink for the background text, and you don't have to worry about it getting too dark. I use Stazon Dove Gray - no sanding necessary :)

Do you put some type of acrylic protective sealant over these so you can place glasses on top?
