After riding a Honda Cub 90 for the last twenty years to work every day I decided to upgrade my ride. After speaking to the salesman he persuaded me to part exchange my trusty steed for a slightly more powerful Yamaha R1. After breaking both my arms and legs in first gear at a sudden and unexpected 80mph I have decided to buy a bus pass.

Picking up the Tuono 660 Factory today. So pumped. This is an additional bike for me as my primary is a big ADV/tourer. Hoping to do some track days and wanted a compact, lightweight bike to learn on that was still pretty capable. In the end, I was between the Tuono 660 Factory and the 890R. Ultimately went with the Aprilia because of its looks and lower price. Hope you get your hands on one and I'd love to see a review.

Started riding on a z400 about 2 months ago and I love it although I’ve already pushed its limits at least straight line, I can chase my friends gsxs750 up to 110 then the kawi runs out of legs. The fact the duke 890 weighs less than 5lbs more and makes triple the power terrifies me and I want one. I was ECSTATIC with the new MT-10 when I saw it, I was literally screaming in my house and my wife thought I was being attacked by an animal. I thought the last "gen" was butt ugly and told people I'd buy one if it got a face-lift. But 14k is a lot of money and the SP is ridiculous. And while they fixed the face, they got rid of more plastics and I'm not sure it looks much better. And now it's more expensive (rightfully) and the MT-09 SP or even a used MT-10 for 10k is looking like a better deal. Still has quick shifter, same engine, and more features I probably would not use. After the dust settled and I'm in the market for a bike this spring, I can't justify a brand new MT-10 in 2022, not when the MT-09 SP has EVERYTHING I need and better suspension that the base MT-10. At this point the only thing I want the MT-10 for is the engine note, but its not worth thousands more to me.
